Hi chayie2817,
You are very closer, I think after receipt of the two docs. requested your application will be processed quicker.
in one or two weeks it might be "Completed".
Are you in or out-land?

Thank you for replying to my questions. Next your status will probably change to "in process" and then "complete". If you are declined, you will receive a e-mail in a week or 2 afterwords, stating their reason for decline. I am not sure if you also receive a e-mail if you are approved but you will receive the MPNP Certificate in the post in the next 2/3 months, depending on your postal address. Change your postal address to your supporters postal address in Manitoba to get it quicker and then they can courier it to you by FedEx to speed up the process.

I Believe you will know the answer within the next month. Best of luck buddy! Be positive!
hi,
thanks for the info.. best of luck to all of us. are there anyone here that has been approved and is now living in canada?

God Bless

The timeline benefits all, if you share, other applicants can see where you currently are and how long the process took you and maybe make their own assumptions based on that. This is the only benefit though.

I am not sure about your second question. I believe you will get Permanent Residence only a couple of weeks after landing bu I am not sure...anyone else can shed some light on this question ?
Thank you Druce for replying.

Well Once i read that one has to stay for 2 years in manitoba to get Citizenship or PR.

But still i want to be sure... Can anyone help plz.

I think that is citizenship. Permanent Residence is granted with the visa that you get from CIC or after landing. I am not sure if there is any time frame that you need to stay in Manitoba for Permanent Residence though. Can someone else that has info on this please help us?

Hi druce,

Check out the link below.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/citizenship/become-eligibility.asp

Permanent resident status

You must have permanent resident (PR) status in Canada. Your PR status must not be in question. That means you must not be:

under review for immigration or fraud reasons, or
under a removal order (an order from Canadian officials to leave Canada).

You do not need to have a PR card to apply for citizenship. If you have a PR card, but it is expired, you can still apply for citizenship.
Time you have lived in Canada

You must have resided in Canada for at least three years (1,095 days) in the past four years before you apply. This does not apply to children under 18.

You may be able to count time you spent in Canada before you became a permanent resident if it was during the past four years.

Use our online tool to find out if you have lived in Canada long enough to apply to become a citizen.

Hi all,

I need to clarify one thing of anybody can help me out for that. When I applied my case in MPNP online, they asked for IELTS. Without that it was not going forward. That time my IELTS was not current, means it was expired. So I uploaded my that IELTS result. Now I am re-taking IELTS exam in Mar.

I need to know that if there will be problem in my case for uploading the expired IELTS results.

Thanks
