Can I participate in Express Entry if I have already been nominated?

MPNP applicants who are already nominated should not enter Express Entry as the MPNP will not be able to support this application. Nominated applicants should follow the steps outlined in their Letter of Approval from the MPNP when applying for permanent residence. For applicants nominated through one of the regular MPNP program categories, this includes submitting their permanent resident applications to the Centralized Intake Office, rather than using Express Entry.



I have an active application with the MPNP and would like to use Express Entry. What should I do?

At this stage, only those MPNP applicants directly contacted by the MPNOP and advised to do so should submit an Xpress Entry profile as the MPNP will otherwise not be able to assist you with your Express Entry submission. All applicants should follow the steps outlined in their Letter of Approval from the MPNP when applying for permanent residence.

Please note that candidates who were not nominated through our Express Entry “sub-stream”, but decide to submit an Express Entry profile indicating they are a Provincial Nominee will be removed from the Express Entry pool after 30 days as provinces and territories can only confirm the nomination of those Express Entry candidates that were nominated to designated program categories.

Hi! I am an MPNP Applicant (September 2013) and I am currently waiting for my MR. I submitted my CIC application last Sept. 2014, I got my AOR last Feb 18, 2015. I am just scared that my application might be refused because its been almost 3months since I received my AOR and yet I haven't received my MR.

No one can predict the time frame. CIC works in their own convenient time.After AOR , medical request comes.

Hi Guys,

I got LoA end of Apr now preparing for CIC. I have a question about my education. I have both degree and master degrees, and i am opening a own business that requires at least 1 of my education experiences. So my question is can i just submit the photo copy of my master certificate and the original of the master score results to CIC and keep my degree in may own hand which means i just submit my highest education to CIC?

Just follow the checklist. You don't need to submit your credentials during CIC stage coz MPNP already assess your qualification.
If you got your LOA, just download the requirements at cic.gc.ca under provincial nominee. Just follow the instructions and read the guide as well.
