Speaking of passport renewal, I had applied for passport renewal recently and it would take 45 days for me to receive it back from the embassy. Should I inform CIC that I renewed my passport? I have not receive the medical request yet. I'm worried that this may cause an issue or further delay in my application. Any advice?

Hi Einna,

Do renew your passport immediately if you need to, because you might need to bring along your passport when you go for your medical test ( One of the documents to bring along is national identity or passport when you go for medical test. If you are not the citizen of the country you reside right now, than it is better to do it earlier.)

In the medical test report copy won't show your passport number, only name, UCI and Application no.

Once you renew your passport, you need to update CIC. However, if you have doubts, it is better to email CIC. They will revert within 2 working days. ( Use the case specific website from CIC).

I have submitted my application to CIC last Oct. 15 and it was received by Oct. 20. Now im only waiting for AOR. The problem is my LOA is expiring by 31st of December. Do you think it would be a problem if there is still no AOR after my LOA expires on Dec. 31st? What is the best thing to do?

It wont be a problem brother as you have already sent your application packager to CIC before 31st December. The 31st December deadline is the deadline by which the CIC should receive your application.

Yes. Email SVO at this email address: Singapore-im-enquiry@international.ca

They will revert approximately in two working days to your enquiry if it is urgent or if you have case specific inquiry. This is the VFS global staff told me.

I did email to this email address before during my case being process and have exceeded the normal processing time frame and my email is reply within 3 working days time.

no not require to give IELTS again. It will be valid to file CIC

it may takes 3 weeks, till date i did not see any case who got rejected by Mpnp after changing status "assessment complete".

Hi Forum mates, May I know what status they usually show if the application is not approved? My sponsor was interviewed last June and until now my status shows "Asseemen in Process". My sponsor will cann the MPNP office this week to ask for any update because its been 5 months already. Thank you

Can you please clarify on following points also

1)My wife and my passport doesnt have spouse name added on it , is it mandatory to have it updated.
2)My wife passport will expire on August 2015 , shd i renew it right now , or send my application to CIC and then renew and update CIC on the same.
3)If hopefully i recieve LOA by dec mid and apply to CIC within december , then by max what time can i expect to get my passport stamped???
