Congratulations!
Actually, I thought about that in my case. I have been checking emails from time to time but no additional docs were required of me. I just wonder if there's any case where email isn't received on the applicant's end. What do you think? May I know what happened to your apps last year? Did you miss any email from them?
simplyblessed said:Also, do you have dependants? Because I was thinking that it takes a while for them to assess our application since we are a family of 4.

I already submitted my PR Visa Application to CIO last May 23, 2013 (after receiving my LOA last March 23, 2013).
I declared there that I haven't travelled outside the country, since I really haven't. But after I submitted the PR Visa
application, I travelled in Hong Kong and Macau last June 2013 for a week. Will I encounter problems once they requested
for my passport and see that I have travelled outside the country after I have submitted my docs??
please advise.
thanks and God bless everyone
Thanks a lot! Yes, we continue to pray and put our hope in God.shealvi said:Hi,
You will receive an ineligible letter if during the pre-assessment stage they will find that your documents is incomplete. In my case, what happened was, they found my application incomplete as I have not submitted proof daw of my strong connection with my sponsor. But kasi I was thinking that the proof should come from my sponsor kasi nga doon nya isasama yung mga documents namin (birth certificates etc) pag sinumbit nya yung SP2 nya. Ang nangyari lang kasi, sinubmit ng sponsor ko onsite, meaning may tumanggap lang na personnel and my sponsor did not receive any acknowledgment receipt from that person na tumanggap ng documents nya. Now, when I re-applied the 2nd time, I made sure doon sa sponsor's tab, after uploading her PR card, health card, etc, I also included na yung documents na mag po-prove that we are cousins, so doon ko inilagay sa OTHERS and I wrote a note doon sa small box kung ano ang content ng files na inupload ko sa OTHERS. (birth certificate of our parents, family tree and the likes). Hintay-hintay ka lang sa sponsor's interview mo, remember, hindi ma i-interview ang sponsor mo once you have lacking documents and for sure pag nag email sila sa'yo, hindi naman siguro mag la-land sa Spam yun. kaya pray lang tayo ng pray. yung akin nga, exactly 1 month today since na interview ang sponsor ko, wala pa rin akong natatanggap. medyo nalulungkot na rin pero sige go pa rin kami sa praying.
Forever Victory said:Hi Everyone,
It has been more than a month now since I applied. I have waited more than 7.5 years (2005 - 2012) before for the approval of my FSW application but just to find out that all pre 2008 FSW backlog applicants will be refunded. Now another waiting again, somebody please advise me on what to do, should I still continue waiting or explore on another stream. I am quite worried because I read that a lot of General Stream applicants for this year including last year's applicants are not moving. I am not getting any younger and I don't think I will be able to wait for a very long processing time. Please advise. Thank you.

We have to be patient with our application. Like you, there are others who were FSW backlog applicants who have applied for PNP now got their PPR. You may check the other thread, an all Filipino one...Forever Victory said:Hi Everyone,

You may want to study their timeline as well. Their journey may be long, but it was worth their wait. If you will explore on another stream, it's going to be another start of the wait. It's your call anyway.
Cheers!
thank you Shealvishealvi said:Definitely not. Since you submitted your application before you travelled outside the country, hindi yun counted.
