hi..

i newbie here... i applying from nov 2013, until now the result assessment pending.. my sponsor not yet receive call for interview, i applied under general stream and my sponsor is my friend.. its already past 1 year and i dont know whats going on... i sent email to MPNP but no reply, I wish somebody can help me and tell me whats the reason make my application pending till today. I applying from outside canada

hello friends

i am preparing my cic documents just have some questions to ask

1) my wife she does not have any last name on her passport. as per cic generic application and all other documents last name is necessary.
in this situation what should i do? somebody told me

use her first name(for example kim) as last name as well. so i guess it will look like
first name-Kim
last name-Kim

is it right or not?

Question for everyone who received an LOA from MPNP:

Did you also receive a letter of support to get a temporary work permit while waiting for CIC to process your perm residence application?? I have a strong job offer that needs me to start immediately, so maybe this is why I was issued a letter to get a temp work visa.

Anyways, I was wondering if any of you received this and took advantage of a temp work visa for a specific employer after receiving nomination from MPNP? I'm an American who was told I can go to the border and apply for the visa that day without issues with this letter of support from MPNP. Canadian BIS doesn't give me much more information, so i'm curious if anyone else was in this same situation and what your experience was?? thanks!

AOR: Still waiting
Visa Office: Manila, Philippines

Hopefully we will receive our AOR /UCI no this week or before Christmas.

Is there any one else who had applied to CIC and then left the job or unemployed..? Please let me know as I will going to resigned from work today with notice pay of two months and need experience people views on the same matters.

Request you to please share that is that any negative complex on the application side if I left the job and be seated as unemployed during their final application process such as medical request pending and than their file related work such as background checks and etc.,

My brother in law (principal applicant) applied MPNP last 2011 and he was unemployed, but of course he had 9 years working experience. There was no problem with their application until they reached the CIC stage and they were successfully given a visa and landed in Manitoba. So I think there will be no problem and doesn't affect your CIC application.

I resigned from work dec 2013... Had my nomination on june 2014 Applied for cic on august 2014... Now decsion made, waiting for passports to be returned. Hth
