Lemonluv, After saw your case I had changed my mailing address to my brothers winnipeg Canada address so that I will get letter earlier because I can't wait seriously to see how this letter is.... I am ready to go ahead with final file preparation for CIC.

Please advise should I start gathering my documents for CIC Application or wait till LoA come to me...?

I'm just extending out what I can help just like those that helped me before.

We have already filled the forms even if there was no news of LOA yet and we didn't yet know whether we were approved or rejected. We just have this faith that eventually we will have the LOA in the end. So we just did what was asked in the checklist:
1) Filled the CIC forms
2) Gather documents (actually we already have the pertinent docs with us already - Passports, Birth certificates, etc)

The last thing that we did were:
1) Secure NBI (Police) clearance (done after we were informed by our supporter that LOA is already received)
2) Pay the processing fee (done just recently)

I guess it would be better to fill and prepare the forms ahead so that when LOA is already on your hands, all you have to do is review them.

We DID NOT send any educational and employment documents because they are NOT included in the checklist. Aside from the CIC Forms, they are asking for your:
1. Passports or travel documents; If you live in a country other than your country of nationality, include a photocopy of your visa for the country in which you currently live
2. Copy of your confirmation of nomination (LOA)
3. Proof of Language Proficiency (if applicable) - IELTS, TEF, CELPIP
4. and a lot more, just refer to the checklist

Please provide me your inputs that do we need to send all above documents or have send documents as what they require in their documents check list.

Passport request: Aug. 5, 2014
Passport received by CEM: Aug. 8, 2014
ECAS decision made: Aug. 15, 2014
Passport with Visa received: Aug. 29, 2014

For those waiting for their LOAs, start preparing your documents for CIC.

Letter of Refusals are most of the time thru emails

After my sponsor's interview, it took about a month for my status to change from "Assessment in Process" to "Assessment Complete". Patience is indeed a virtue!


Question to those who got their application denied, did you experience the status change in MPNP online to "Assessment Complete" even if your application was denied?

Please provide your inputs for the same.... Is there any possibilities to denied my application or delayed to issue Letter of Approvals

if your status will change by "Assessment complete" then you will be sure for getting LOA.

however, now mpnp office takes 1 to 3 months for LOA after interviews.

So you have to wait and we do not have any other option to check result before that.

Hi,

Can anybody tell me, what does actually mean by " Assessment Pending". Do the MPNP authority look at the documents provided by the applicant and based on the existing criterion the decided whether the specific file qualify for further processing (sponsor interview). Or this status simply means the file has been put under ques. If there is a chance of negative outcome then this is the stage when a application may receive refusal letter, right? I am not quite clear about these status meaning. Can somebody experience/seniors kindly shed some light on this issue. Eagerly waiting for the next step since August 01.

If your status shows "assessment complete" it means you will be getting LOA very soon.

Received – The MPNP Online application you submitted has been successfully received.

Assessment Pending – Your application is awaiting review by MPNP program officers.

Assessment in Process – Application is being reviewed.

No Assessment Required – Applicant has withdrawn his/her application.

Not Accepted for Assessment – MPNP has determined application is ineligible, incomplete or otherwise not acceptable.

Assessment Complete – MPNP program officers have completed their reviews; correspondence is being sent to inform applicant of the result of our assessment of your application.

Request for Review in process – This message pertains to refused applications for which the applicant has formally requested an RFR – Request for Review.
