Thnx alot I lyk ur suggestion bt cn they work in canada on super visa bases? N if my mother gt visa less than 3 years then what would b the options?loma_linda said:Hi. I have a very good suggestion here.
1. Apply Super Visa for your mom (she can get approved for 5-10 yrs)
2. Once she has stayed continuously for 3 years using TRV, you can apply permanent residency for her. Google: Application for Permanent Residence: Temporary Resident Permit Holder
TRV holders who has continuously stayed in Canada for 3 yets can apply for PR.
As for your siblings, let them apply via MPNP.
Good luck!
Hi ALL..crazyfr0st said:it is really a tough one, but don't lose hope... we,from non-native english speaking countries, must prove that we are capable to practice our profession in their country. we are entailed to pass all the necessary examinations and must demonstrate an equal knowledge with regards to their curriculum. it's quite reasonable knowing that we want to live and work there permanently so we must abide to the rules set by their regulatory body. don't be depressed because God has plans for each one of us, in His own perfect time.
by the way, what is the passing mark for teachers in ielts to obtain licensure in canada? for us nurses, it's 7.5 Listening, 6.5 Reading, 7 Writing and 7 Speaking with OBS of 7... i was told by my consultancy to pass my GT with almost the same scores needed by my regulatory body for them to properly assess that i can pass academic module needed to be a registered nurse in canada. although we all know that even a 5.5 mark can apply and be nominated, it is still better to for us with regulated professions to pass it with exemplary mark. hope it enlightened you. Godbless
hi. i did my SEC(substantially equivalent competency) for international educated nurses at british columbia, vancouver last 2012. before they are requiring 6 on R,W,L then 7 at speaking with obs of 6.5... after a year they changed to the scores i mentioned before. by aug 2014, they will revise and centralize the applications by designating one agency NNAS. u can check at college of RN manitoba. i,too, have concerns regarding the application. i resigned from work last dec and i also have a relative in vancouver. my sponsor convinced the mpnp officer that i will stay there and he will support me and my family in the adaptation process. with this in mind, im hoping for a successful nomination. we all have sentiments of our own. we should just keep on hoping and praying for the betterment of our future.tetski said:Hi ALL..
