Hi GKarl

I just want to check with you if you're the one who selected your visa office or it was selected by cic? I am currently preparing our documents to be sent to cic and I want to choose CEM. However, we are currently in Dubai but we want to go back home for good next year.

Thanks!

Hi Brieanna! I actually selected CEM but CIC sent my application to ADVO. CIC on its own discretion selected the visa office that could process effectively our application.

If you are planning to go home for good, maybe you have to include a letter mentioning the reason why you believe CEM would better process your application. Mention, if possible, that your contract is ending this year.

Thank you Pare! Good luck on your application.
Congratulation alot

At last my supporter visited MPNP office to know the exact reason of rejection.
MPNP officer said "the person he already supported returned back to they home country"
and they suppose my supported is unable to support them well.

after the long discussion officer said he will think again about your case and make the decision soon

I actually shown more... I included also non-cash assets. The reason I did this is because I'm trying not only to satisfy the requirements but also to let them know that I'm capable in settling in Canada and will survive for quite some time even though I might find difficulty in finding job corresponding to my profession during the first few months of landing.

That's actually the best way to do it. ;D

Hi Ashwin,

Remember there was an extra points in the self assessment if you choose to live outside Winnipeg...like an extra 5 points or so.
I think they are giving priority to applicants planning to settle in less populated area in MB.

But that's just my guess...
