Its been 8 months since my sponsor applied his brother,the file was submitted offline and he received file no 5 months after applying.My sponsor asked form someone in manitoba and he was being told that u can apply one distant relative if u already applied for under blood realtion,I just want to make it clear about any such rule regarding sponsorship under MPNP.

This means, the assessment regarding your Supporter's brother still in process! In this case this person could not support you now! But he will can after this assessment finish. Is not related how many he already support and blood relation quantity, matters only one person at time!

my status has changed - Information Requested.... Does this mean that they have requested information from my supporter??????They was called her in Friday but she was at work at that moment.....She will call immigration today....Does anyone have the same status....

hi everyone,,
i am applying for my parents but one of my sister is 23 years old,,, doing MS n she is also working,,,so she doesnot fall under dependent child category.if her form as an independent child is attached to the same application, would it be acceptable ???

The program say:
"be under the age of 22 and not have a spouse or common-law partner, or
be dependent on the financial support of a parent and have been continuously enrolled at and attending full-time a post-secondary school, accredited by the relevant government authority, since before the age of 22 (or since marrying or entering into a common-law relationship, if this happened before the age of 22), or
be dependent on the financial support of a parent since before the age of 22 and be unable to provide for themselves due to a medical condition"

Than I think your sister need to have her on assessment. Not together in the same application.

I think that is no reason to worry... Ask your supporter to call them and check if they send the request information by email or regular mail... And than try to obtain more specific information about your assessment

First step will do the self assessment. It's a web app, step-by-step questions, after you reply all questions, the web app will return to you points, you need to reach at least 61 points in order to apply at the MPNP program.

hi guys,

I just want to share my story. This is my third time that I have applied for Canada.
The first one was under FSW (2011), in which my documents were returned to me after 6 months because the said program already reached their quota of applications.
Then, I applied for MPNP the next year (2012). Sadly, I received an ineligible letter. I was not able to provide enough proof of relationship of my mom and my aunt (birth certs., etc.) and also my bank history. I just provided my account statement at that time.
I felt like giving up after that. I know that I can re-apply again after 6months, but it took me another year to have a courage to try again.
Last 2013, I tried again. I thought I would fail and receive an ineligible letter again. But hey, I think everything really happens for a reason. There's always the right time for everything. This time, I received an LOA.

Have faith!

This waiting game is only a challenge for us.

I just pray for our application's progress and positive outcome for all of us!
