I'm a newbie in this forum. And like others,i also follow these thread
First,I would like to congratulate all the members/applicants who just received their passport with visa! I just hope mine will come soon
It's been 2months since NHSI Baguio forwarded my Medical result to CEm and paid my rprf last year,nov.29 to be specific..Still waiting for email notification for PPR.
Like Munde, i also sent an email to CEm asking if they already received all my documents accordingly and another thing is my e-cas, it doesnt
change,still application received last sept.4..
But I do believed that good things happen for those who wait,right Munde? let's just keep our faith.

Hello to everyone, i am going to apply for my brother through FS soon but i am not that confident for sponsor him, cuz he is just 20 year old, had 10+2 done, had abt 2 years of work experience and can score for ILETS abt 5.5 some what. so my question is, is he getting enough point to be nominated since he has just 10+2 only. pls just guide me over this mater. specially education, what is minimum education requirement for MPNP ?
i would really appreciate any suggestion.

My Passport is about to expire on April 2015, and I just got my AOR from CIC last month..
Do i need to renew my passport before they request for my passport?
If ever i'll renew my passport do i have to notify CIC or our Visa Office?

It really depends if you want to. The expiry of your visa to Canada will be a year from the time your ECAS status announces Medicals Received. So, for instance, your MR is to arrive this month and it was date received at: 15 March 2014, then your visa will expire on 15 March 2015. Which gives enough time for you to land in Canada.

Just bear in mind, not to extend too much in deciding when to land, because some airports will not allow you to leave the country with only 6 months (like in the Philippines) validity on your passport, some allow upto 3 months. But if you plan to leave as soon as you receive your visa, then there is no need for you renew your passport. And some airports will allow you to leave even if it is valid for less than 6 months because you have a permanent resident visa anyway.

The choice is up to you. If you want to renew, there is no need to inform CIC or the embassy, you will receive a form with PPR which you will have to fill in. Just fill in your new passport details there. It's what I did when they requested for my passport (and I renewed it before submitting it to the embassy).

My brother-in-law is living in Saskatchewan. he is on work permit. his medical is done and soon will get his PR hopefully. now he working in a restaurant and store

my question is. what are the chances of my file approval or refusal. Any wild guess from your experience

I'm MPNP but have sent my PR forms off to CIC, my Credit Card got charged a few days ago but still waiting for AOR.

I'm fairly sure they send it by email but just making sure. Have you got yours already?
