Hi, I am new in this forum . My question is my sponsor is supporting another application under Family stream and was approved for MPNP and already had medical check-ups and just waiting for the PR visa. Does it mean that she is not suppose to sponsor me yet because she is still sponsoring another persons application and that one is under family stream and mine is General? Pls i need advise. thank you very much

Welcome to the Forum!

Technically, a "Supporter" can only "Sponsor" one applicant at a time as you may have already know/read it, however, I have read a post in this Forum that his Sponsor has actually sponsored more than one applicant in a year.

Therefore, we can conclude that PNP applications are truly in a case to case Basis.

My sponsor emailed the SP2 on Oct 7. the confirmation was received on via email Oct 19.

Yes, any changes in your circumstance should be informed to MPNP. Show them a copy of the passport and the proof of change of name.

I need a little help from everyone.

I got an email from MPNP yesterday (October 23) saying I should send an updated bank statement latest October 31 after which they will make a final decision on my application. My challenge is that, I've moved money in and out of my bank account over this period for business purposes with the total available deposit being very low. I however can move money back into my account before the October 31 deadline to exceed the required bank balance.

From your experiences or reading the forum, will a money deposit in my bank account within the next 7 days to make up the shortfall in the required funding be viewed negatively by MPNP? While one is planning to migrate, it doesn't make business sense to have cash lying idle when there are other alternatives to growing the cash - this is my opinion.

I was also asked to do that around five months into my application. I had also done some spending on my bank account, however not very low (probably not more than US$1,000). By the time they asked me to provide a new statement, luckily, I returned the $500 that I spent two weeks before their request.

I am not sure how low your balance is of now. But in my case, I have been bringing in and bringing out certain amount from my bank account and that didn't affect my application. I was granted LOA in July 2013.

And could you, please, tell us what kind of questions MPNP did ask you? I'm in very need to know it, because I also applied in same May 2013 as you did and I'm waiting for my sponsor's interview, and I was thinking that MPNP can also have an interview with me as well.

How will you settle urself in Mb?
relation of ur endorser and u
abt ur endorser's family members , their jobs(to verify facts
Abt ur option to choose manitoba y nt anyother province
and same questions they ask ur sponsor from different perspective
specially abt other relatives in canada residing else where than MB.

Normally, you will not be interviewed, only the sponsor. If you have submitted SP2, LOA comes next! Goodluck!

here are the most frequently asked questions, better practice with your answer using these questions.

by the way, im applying to Manitoba ..

A. How and when did you meet each other? What is the real name of the applicant/sponsor? (nicknames too)

B. How long did you know each other or what is your relationship with your sponsor?

C. When was the last time you talked to your Sponsor/ Applicant or have a communication with them?

D. When was the last time you saw your Sponsor/ Applicant?

E. Is your sponsors related to each other? What can you say about your sponsor A? Sponsor B?

F. What is his/her current work, current position? Current addresses?

G. How about their family composition regarding the sponsor/applicant, civil status?

H. What is the name of their parents (in my case sponsors are siblings).

I. Are you sure you will not transfer to other province once given a Letter of Approval?

J. Are you aware of the consequences to you and your Sponsors once you leave or didn't settle at all in Manitoba?

K. Is your sponsor willing to help you in your settlement plan to Manitoba?

L. What are the possible things that your sponsor can offer or help you when you arrive?

M. What do you know about Manitoba? (If you can state some facts regarding weather, environment or maybe events/holidays )

N. How long you want to stay in Manitoba?
O. Do you have relatives/friends in other province aside from Manitoba?

P. Do you think you can easily find a job in Manitoba and why? What are the websites you are using to find available jobs in MB? Can you site some companies that you remember?

I am not familiar about the number of sponsorship allowed in a year. What I know is that, the sponsor is also being assessed in his capacity/stability to sponsor applicants. You can pray for your application. Don't worry too much. We can just wait for result and hope for the best.

Hello there,, just wanna know if your sponsor receive a AOR after submitting the sp2? Or i read it right, that your still waiting for it... my sponsor submitted the sp2, last OCT1.. But until now, no AOR receive.. Im just worried...
