Hi Everyone...

Could you please advice me on below things considering General Stream of MPNP...

-As per new rules, I assume only 1 friend can be the sponsor? (unlike 2 friends required as per the old rules)
Yes, you only need 1 sponsor now.
-MAS form is replaced by SP2 form..??
That's right, your sponsor will have to fill in an SP2 form.
-When SP2 should be submitted?
You can submit it together with your application, or wait for Manitoba Immigration to contact your sponsor. If you chose the second option, ask your sponsor to complete the form as soon as possible, once you submit your application as they might request for SP2 within a month or less.
-Is it mandatory that sponsor and applicant should have met before applying? (I'm asking because I have never met my sponsor before :-X)
There is a part in the application, and in SP1 and SP2 regarding your relationship. Whether you have met each other or not. Even if you haven't met each other, you must have to have a very strong reason why this person wants to sponsor you and why you want to be sponsored by him/her. For instance, you have known each other for years, doing business together etc. Make sure you have enough proof of your relationship. May I ask, how you have known each other?
-I assume there will only be the telephonic inquiry on sponsor and sponsor doesn't have to be there physically present for interview?
So far, we haven't heard of any sponsor being physically present for an interview.

Not sure if that is possible, as a sponsor will have to provide an SP2 on your behalf. Fellow posters, any answer on this?

What is your intended occupation? You should check this one: mordenmb.com/business/immigrate-to-morden/how-to-get-here

If your intended occupation will qualify for this program, then Morden Manitoba will be your sponsor.

I'm sorry but this is not possible. Strong connection in Manitoba is needed for you to consider MPNP application. Either a friend or a relative can be your sponsor to fill out SP2.

I can see that you have been into considering different route to Canada in your previous posts. Try to study the website to give you a better view of MPNP. Check this out..

I have a 4 year Bachelor degree in Computer Science, in the Factor #4 Education, is it equivalent to a Two post-secondary programs of at least two years each, 23 points???

one post-secondary programme of two years OR LONGER (this includes your Bachelor's degree of four years) = 20 points

Two post-secondary programmes of at least two years EACH (if you have another Bachelor's degree) = 23 points

Hello, my sponsor sent the sp2 last sept30.. But until now, they havent receive any confirmation.. Pang 8 ako sa mga tinulungan at inisponsoran nila just this year... Ask ko lang sana ilang application ang pwede nila i apply for a year? Thank you...
