Hi friends
hope you all doing well in your current life and next in your future
I understand the nature of this topic , I have only short question maybe far from topic but I hope find anyone had same situation
I am an Egyptian but living in Saudi Arabia , so when I apply to CIC the visa office has to be Cairo . As there is no immigration office in Saudi but the website of CIC says applicants of immigration from SA and some other gulf countries can apply to UAE

regarding processing times in cic website i noticed that cairo office 12 ms while UAE 18 ms
So I can apply to my home country or UAE ? right ?

Hi,

As per your nationality you have to decide your home country's visa office.
As my elder brother was also in saudi arabia from 10 years hr also inquire from alot of places, even from canadian embassy in pakistan.
He got reply that he will choose the designated visa office concerning to country.
Meanwhile you can confirm by any source.

I am already in winnipeg now i sponser my brother and my wife she sponser one of our family friend both applications r still under process bcz i applied for my brother june 13 and for my friend we applied july 13 so the things will become clear after couple of months later

Hi all.
my experience is the same 2 application in a yr. After 6months and got my LOA my sponsors sister had applied and still under process. She is near for sponsor interview this november 20. 2013.

I have a brown envelope with the address of CIC (in the centre) and my address (upper left side). I put the green sticker on top of the CIC address. I attached a copy of the LOA, you keep the original with you. (gosh, I hope I am right because I didn't send the original LoL)

Thanks, I actually looked into the document check list again, and yes, I was so happy to see the word 'copy'.

I checked that list like 50x before filling in the forms. And then, I looked into my forms like 25x before sending it off to CIC. hahaha

I did exactly what you did on the application package..a copy of LOA only, although it says in the LOA itself "attach original". Same with the green sticker on top of CIC address.

Glad to know I am not the only one. I followed the instructions of CIC rather than MPNP. Since the documents are going to them.

Oh thank you very much for your reply. I hope my sponsor can really sponsor me as long as the other person she sponsored was approved already and just processing their PR visa. My sponsor is in Winnipeg also like your sister.

Hi Zig, My sponsor sent the Settlement plan 2 last October 9,2013 and sent a revised Settlement plan 2 last October 14,2013 because there was a mistake on the 1st copy of settlement plan. May i know how long does it usually take before my sponsor can receive a confirmation of receipt for the SP2? Thank you!

My sponsor emailed the SP2 on Oct 7. the confirmation was received on via email Oct 19.

it says that you have two option
1.payment of fees on the internet
2.payment of fees using the fee payment form

question do i need to check the box at the same time?if i paid thru online? no.1

You only select 1 and don't tick twice using internet and fee payment form. If you paid the fees on the internet, check no 1 only (internet).

In my case, I used option 2 using Fee Payment Form.

hello everyone,

for those who applied at CIC just wanna ask where exactly did you guys put the green sticker (provincial nominee program)?which part of the envelope?and did you attached the original LOA?

In my case, I placed the sticker beside my return address. With regards to LOA as per checklist you need to submit COPY but as per instruction of MPNP you need to past the Original and placed on top of your application package. I asked other thread regarding LOA whether i'll past or only the copy.. All the answer that i got was submit the original LOA and placed on top of the application package and also pass a copy of LOA and put according to the arrangement of documents stated in the CIC checklist.. so I past the Original LOA and a copy of the LOA... but i read some answers with regards to your question in this thread and they answered only copy... anyway its up to you whether you past the original or not. I'm just sharing my case.
