Hello Friends!!

I got the LOA with occupation skill level "0". My IELTS is expired in March 2015. Is we need to retake the exam to submit the case in CIC. Please suggest me as I'm really confused because in email where the LOA was attached mentioned the following matter ::) ::) ::)

"Please refer to the attachment letter. No hard copy will be mailed..

Citizenship and Immigration Canada does not accept language test result (IELTS) that are more than two years old. Please ensure your include valid test results in your application for permanent residence"

Please let me know it is general information or specially intimation for me.

Thanks

Manjeet

Hi Manjeet,

I believe that NOC C and D will be requiring to retake ielts upon submitting their docs during CIC if their IELTS exam was already expired during this stage. I think that NOC 0 A and B will not be requiring for a re-test once they've attached their IELTS results during the initial application. You can check the cite below for the CIC stage. Hope this will help you sir.

Need po ng advice.

Meron na po ako LAA and plano ko isunmit na yung full application and declare my first cousin as a close relative. Yung asawa nya meron din sponsor na friend pero wala pa eoi or laa. Possible ba na magka conflict application namin?

Thank you znarfier for the input!

I hope hindi naman ma apektuhan yung assessment since may relatives outside of Manitoba?
Besides hindi ko din talaga ganun ka-close ung relatives(first cousin/auntie) ko sa ibang province. Kung pede nga lang hindi na I declare kasi I would still need to get in touch with them..

Hi sunnysideup!

Q: Dun sa section Friends/Relatives in Canada, Does this include the ones outside of Manitoba?
A: Yes...

Q: If included yung outside of Manitoba, kailangan din bang i upload yung mga docs nila, i.e Birth cert, Ids, etc.?
A: No. You only need to mention basic info - name, date of birth, address, tel. no. No docs.

Good luck & GOD bless!

2 points lang ulit ibinaba

Hi Van1lla08! Sorry for this late Feedback.

Have you already submitted your full app?

Anyway, just to share with you my observations... walang problema sa application mo dahil ikaw ay "Close relative" nila. Kaso yong friend ng in-law mo yong most likely magkakaprob at this point.

FYI: Manitoba Support

Close relatives may support the application of more than one skilled worker at a time provided they satisfactorily demonstrate their ability to do so.

For friends and distant relatives, their household must not be currently supporting the settlement of another MPNP applicant, nominee or person under another Canadian immigration program.

Good day sunnysideup!

Na-check mo na ba yong points grid? As long as yong relative mo sa Manitoba ay "Close Relative" mo rin, like some of your relatives in other Canadian province/s, wala kang dapat ipangamba kasi equal lang ang connection mo sa loob at labas ng Manitoba, so walang risk factor. Otherwise, don ka lang magkakaminus ng Points if ever.

FYI:

Factor 6: Risk Assessment

Points are calculated based on any connections you or your spouse, if applicable, may have to other parts of Canada.

Risk Factor Ranking Points

Close relative in another province and no close relative in Manitoba -100
Work experience in another province -100
Studies in another province -100
Previous immigration application to another province -100

Maximum Points – Factor 6 -400

Yeap, good to know znarfier! First cousin ko din ung nasa Manitoba. :D

Ang medyo concern ko na lang ngayon is ung sa pag declare ng close relative outside of Manitoba and providing details.
I tried reaching out dun sa isang first cousin ko sa BC pero mukha wala siyang balak mag bigay ng details.

Pano kaya pag ganun? wala akong mailalagay na details on that section even I answered 'Yes' when I submitted ung EOI. I only know ung name niya.

Appreciate your thoughts on this..

Hi Byre!Welcome to the thread! First of all -you should not have added 25 points to your language score, if you are not proficient in Canada's second official language which is French. You need to update your EOI and try to remove the 25 points. That being said, that is the reason kung bakit wala ka pang narereceive na LAA. You garnered an additional 25 points na di naman po dapat. If tama na lahat ng nasagot mo aside sa issue sa language, your score should have only been 541 at hindi pa kasama sa recent draw.. Hope this helps you. :)

Hi byre, you're most welcome!

I cannot access my EOI anymore after I received an LAA, so I can't check what you must do step by step. But I'm sure you can still open your EOI as long as wala ka pang LAA, and you can still edit and update your information there. I also updated information before and it worked. You just have to resubmit it after updating.
