MPNP Application 2015 for FILIPINOS

Hi everyone! I just checked the status of my application now.... and guess what? I have good news to all of you, my fellow 2015 applicants! Mine moved to the next step! Praise the LORD!

Status: Assessment Pending!!! -- by the grace of GOD!

GOD is really good!

09th Nov 2015 is exactly 5 mos after the MPNP received my sponsor's SP P2!!!

OMG! All smiles - me! indeed! It's moving!!! ;D

baka you can help me sa inquiry ko kung ok lang.

nakalagay kc sa website ng mpnp na pwede mag sponsor ng one or more kapag close relative then close relative pareho yung sponsoran. sabay kc kame nag apply this year sa eoi ng 1st cousin ko and 1st cousin din namin yung sponsor namin pareho. pero mas mauuna siya bigyan ng laa kc mas mataas siya ng 10points. question ko lang. need ba muna mag land nung cousin ko na kasabay ko sa eoi process bago iprocess ung application ko kahit nabigyan na ako ng laa? or pwede sabay iprocess yung application namin?

2nd question. lubusin ko na
sa 5000 cap ng 2015 kasama yung 2013 and 2014 sa cap tama ba? then meron lang ako nabasa na comment m before na pagdating sa december malaki yung chances na sobra bumaba yung ranking points? dahil ba papasok na naman ulit ung cap for 2016 kaya ganun?

3rd question. pasensya na po

nakalagay po sa website ng mpnp na promise nila na mag ddraw sila ng 15 to 25 draws each year. so till december 31 2015 ba mag ddraw sila ng 15 to 25 draws? kc kung till april 2016 ung promise nila na 15 to 25 draws, dapat in a year yung nakalagay sa website nila.

byre - the LAA is different from the EOI..LAA is a Letter of Advice to Apply - it is not something that you will accomplish. It is something that MPNP will issue to you if your EOI score is included in the draw.

Of course, given na na if nauna nabigyan ng LAA ang cousin mo and everything is okay as to the requirements from him/her, then mas mauuna umusad ang application niya than you.

2nd question. lubusin ko na

We can never tell what will be MPNP's strategy towards the end of the year as to the intake of applicants. Kung bababa significantly ang points or not for issuance of LAA's. We should take note, they mentioned about backlogs and more than enough applications received to fill 2014 quota, and most probably these will carry over to the 2015 cap. Also, baka ang mga nasa EOI pool sobrang dami pa rin ng matataas ang points kaya 2 points lang ang bawas kada draw, to limit ang mga nasa queue na nakasubmit na ng application / give time na umusad ang mga nakakuha na ng LAA since first draw. Like znarfier, he waited since the first draw at ngayon lang nag move. I think it is but fair to process those who were given the LAA from way back than increasing those that are invited. No offense meant on this statement, this is just my opinion. Marami na rin kasi ang naissue-han ng LAA from overseas and it is the first time we heard of movement on their applications - that is from znarfier. If they will not do this, they cannot stand true to their statement saying "faster processing in 2015" - if they will only keep on inviting (LAA) and not processing first yung mga matagal ng may LAA. The right time will come for everyone...

3rd question. pasensya na po

It looks like they prorated the 15 draws for 2015. Since they started issuing LAAs last May, so that will count as 8 months towards the end of the year or 15 draws multiplied by 8months over 12months = 10 draws for 2015. Or maybe could go 11..This is just my own understanding of how they spread over the 15 draws for each year.

The MPNP called our supporter exactly 1 wk after our status was updated to "Assessment Pending", but since our supporter was at work around 3:30 PM Canada time, the program officer decided to leave a msg asking our supporter to call her back before 5PM that very day, Monday. Supporter works until 5:30 PM so she was able to return the call yesterday morning before 9 AM. After their conversation, the program officer informed her that she will call the applicant right away. Supporter sent us a message but I was only able to read it after the 22.5 mins conversation with the program officer. She interviewed me and my spouse.

After the said interview, our status became: "Assessment in Process"!

I will keep you posted!

Hello everyone!

I forgot about a possible change in my application after = 1 week. I was counting by days, 10 days (minimum) interval to be exact!

So when the MPNP interviewed us the other night we were very surprised as we werent expecting it happening 7-8 days after our status was changed to "Assessment Pending"! But of course we are very grateful to MPNP that they didnt let us wait for a very long time.

To GOD be the glory!


Here I am again for my next set of predictions as to when would be the next update:



My Timeline:

April 30 -- Submitted my EOI
May 20 -- Received the LAA
May 29 -- Submitted my full application to the MPNP
May 31 -- Got the MPNP File No.
June 9 -- MPNP received my Manitoba Supporter's SP P2
Nov 9 -- Assessment Pending
Nov 16 -- Supporter received a voicemail from MPNP
Nov 17 -- Supporter returned the call of MPNP + MPNP interviewed me & my spouse for 22.5 mins! = Assessment in Process


I wish and I believe that my application status will change from "Assessment In Process" to "Assessment Complete" on:


Nov 24 -- 1 week after my status was updated to "Assessment In Process"
Nov 30 -- 6 mos after I received my MPNP File No

Dec 1 -- 2 weeks after my status was updated to "Assessment In Process"

Yes, please, that would be the BEST Christmas gift ever!

As per my observation from 2014 applicants, 2 wks after the interview comes the LOA or decision from MPNP!

I hope and pray that we will get the nomination. In JESUS name!

I also believe that MPNP 2015 for SWOs is committed to a 5-6 months processing time from the opening of the MPNP file.

By the way, she was like a friend on the other line. A sweet young lady program officer. I hope we were able to convince her that our hearts want to stay only in Manitoba for the rest of our lives... she asked us about our future plans. How Long do we intend to stay in MB. This was because my spouse have relatives in another province. Then of course how close are we to these relatives. We can only tell her whats in our hearts. Nothing else. Our intensions are honest and so we have nothing to hide. I know that most ineterviews lasted 5-10 mins only. So ours was somewhat twice, maybe becuase she spoke to both the principal applicant and the spouse. She maybe would like to speak with our kids coz she asked where they are but they're in the UK right now so.

Here are the questions she had for us (supporter, me and my spouse):

1. who is my supporter and what's my relationship with that person
2. how long do I know my supporter
3. when was the last time I saw my supporter
4. the last time we spoke
5. whats my job and also my supporter's
6. do my spouse and I have relatives and friends outside MB
7. how long do we intend to stay in Manitoba
8. supporter's plan in helping the applicant + family
