good day. just want to ask po and baka you can help me. regarding sa settlement funds. before kase yung nakalagay sa settlement funds (bank statement) kelangan 6months atleast (old process) now sa immigratemanitoba wala na nakalagay kung ilan months dapat yung bank statement m. i havent applied yet pero i just want po to prepare everything needed para just in case ma bless tayo ni god eh deretso na yung application. then what if hindi ko ideclare na nagwork ako sa uae since 5years na rin naman yung working experience ko here? mejo ma proceso kase yung pagkuha ng police certificate sa uae. advise naman po. thanks in advance

Correct! before they require 6 mos bank statement, now it's down to 3!

That's the winning attitude, prepare the requirements in advance!

Regarding your work exp in the UAE, its up to you. Initially, yes, you are correct. In the MPNP stage, the minimum requirement is your work exp in the past 5 years, but if Im not mistaken, in the CIC stage, they would want that the applicant will provide Good Conduct Cert in the places he/she has been or stayed for more than 6 mos. What if they'll find out that you've been to the UAE? Then it'll only make them ask more questions from you. Anyhow, we aren't sure how extensive is the CIC's tool in verifying such. Do check around for more insights from the peeps here or in the other threads...

For me, my advise is, be truthful as possible... for you'll never go wrong if you will be!

But then again, this is just an advise... in the end, it'll be you who will decide... I wish you all the best!

Hi mackymac! on the MPNP stage, past five years of work experience lang naman ang idedeclare dun which is equivalent to 75 in the points system in the EOI. However, in the CIC stage, you will have to declare your personal history in the past 10 years which includes all your employment history and places where you have resided. If you have resided in a country for 6 months or more, then you are required to present a police clearance certificate from that place even if you are not residing there anymore. I have been informed in another forum that securing a police clearance certificate in the UAE as well as in the KSA is very difficult even if you have a representative to process it there on your behalf. Someone suggested based on his personal experience to just submit an affidavit to CIC instead of the police clearance and he also prepared his passport stamped with his entry and exit in Saudi plus his contract there to support his declaration that he stayed there. Good thing CIC accepted the affidavit and didn't ask further. Bottomline here is, be always truthful in your application. Not declaring it is also tantamount to not providing truthful information and could result in being banned from applying or being refused in your application. thnks so much for the answers. bute na lang meron forum na mga ganito. actually matagal na ako sa forum na to kaso mejo nag laylow since ndi ako naka abot last year na application. si znaifer matagal na yan. hahaha. batch m pa yata dto sila chicco. and here ndi m na kelangan magbayad like sa mga consultancy. well ganyan talaga mga pinoy. lets help each other then hoping na magkikita kita tayo someday sa manitoba. hehehe. july 11 pa exam ko sa ielts. ciguro mga 4th or 5th draw na aabutan ko. hoping. thanks
