Hi imgoingtocanada!

First you have to send your Canadian Immigrant application to CIC-CIO (IRCC), in Canada. Then they'll forward it to the Visa Office (VO) near you. So if you are in the Philippines, your application will be assigned to CEM, Canadian Embassy in Manila.

hi znarfier, so ang mpnp, talagang for provincial nomination lang, magkaka points lang tayo because of provincial nomination. then CIC parin ang mag pro process ng visa application, and emabassy pa rin dito sa manila ang may final say kung ok o hindi?

hi znarfier, so ang mpnp, talagang for provincial nomination lang, magkaka points lang tayo because of provincial nomination. then CIC parin ang mag pro process ng visa application, and emabassy pa rin dito sa manila ang may final say kung ok o hindi?

imgoingtocanada, let's put it this way, the PNP or particularly MPNP has 2 stages, the "Provincial Nomination Stage" (MPNP) and the "Application for Immigration Stage" (CIC/IRCC)

You are correct, "final say" yong Visa Office/Embassy ng Canada kung saan i-aassign yong application nyo. Pero, without the nomination from the province, you can't go to the 2nd/final stage. The nomination is the key for us to apply for immigration.

You just have to print mailing labels. Print your address on a bond paper. I forgot how big it is though but I'm pretty sure I based it on the size of the envelope. So I printed four sets in a bond paper para safe and cut them out. Yan ang didikit nila sa envelope na babalik sayo I think that's why they needed that.

Nope, no other documents were requested. Just make sure that when you submit all your docs, its complete.

Sept 26, 2015 - Received email Letter of Advice to Apply (LAA)
Nov 4, 2015 - Submitted Application
Nov 5, 2015 - Received MPNP FILE#
Nov 18, 2015 - Received acknowledgement from mpnp that SP2 has been received
Feb 29, 2016 - MPNP status updated to "assessment pending"
March 14, 2016 - supporter interview for 20 mins
March 15, 2016 - MPNP status updated to "assessment in process"
April 1, 2016 - MPNP status updated to "assessment complete"
April 2, 2016 - Received Letter of Nomination via email
May 9, 2016 - Sent PR visa application to CIO via DHL (took time to submit because DFA had problems printing passports)

Estimated date of delivery to CIO as per dhl - May 16, 2016

Hi Znarfier,

I noticed that together with your MR and RPRF, you were asked for PCC again? Is this the police clearance cert/NBI clearance? Di po ba kasama na yun when you sent your application? why did they ask for it again? how do you resend it?

and what additional info did they request if you don't mind me asking. Thanks.

Mga kababayan, I need your help.
Last December, our status changed to Assessment complete. But we never receieved any LOA. We kept on asking MPNP for their decision but they never replied.
And then yesterday, we received an email that we are successfully nominated by the province and we need to apply for CIC until May 16, 2016. The problem is that we cannot complete all CIC application before the 16th.

Can we ask for an extension date for that matter? And can we ask MPNP tl resend the hard copy of the LOA?
Hope someone can enlighten us with our situation. God bless.
