Btw, if Im not mistaken your wife didnt just renew her passport becuase it was expiring. Maybe it was because she has to Change her civil Status and last Name

Let's not be confused.. whenever we renew our passports, we will be given a new passport no. and upon receiving your new passport, you can upload a copy of it in your MPNP Profile.

Sorry bout that. I thought he's a Filipino too. Also, is it true that new passport #s will be given upon renewal? My wife's passport should be expired this June15 and she renewed it last Feb15. Also, she updated her marital status and her last name but upon receiving it she also had the same passport #. I thought it was unique for every passport holder. Hmmmm. So if this is the case, I might have the same problem. My passport will expire next year. LOL! ahahaha!

once again, i believe your wife only applied for change in status (not 100% sure as I havent done it myself) coz if it was a renewal of passport, she should have been given a new passport with new passport no. and with another 5 yrs validity on it. As for me, I have my 4th passport and all 4 have different passport nos.

and I always renew my passport 8-10 mos before its expiration date as itll be useless when it isnt renewed less than 6 mos before it expires as you cant travel with it anyway...
