Kindly update my timeline. My sponsor was interviewed yesterday (September 11). The interview went well but updated settlement plan of my sponsor has been requested. My sponsor has been asked to submit SP2 today. Hopefully LOA will soon follow.

I was not interviewed by the MPNP (provincial nomination level), only my sponsor.

It's case to case basis, there were instances wherein applicants were also interviewed by the MPNP after their sponsors' interview. But in my case, I got my LOA without getting interviewed.

As to my application at CIC (immigration - permanent residency level), I wasn't interviewed yet as my application for permanent residency is still under screening. At this level, it's also case to case basis, some applicants were interviewed and others were not.

Did the interviewer asked your sponsor to submit any additional requirements, like updated 'Settlement Plan 2'?

If the interview went well, expect to receive your LOA (nomination letter). They are sending it by post mail and it depends on where you from. In my case, I received the LOA almost a month after they mail it to my office mail box address. Goodluck!

hi! I am a newbie here. I have applied for MPNP General stream last year, August. I received my nomination letter last March. My family and I had just completed our medical exam on November 27, 2013 and paid our RPRF a day before thru dropbox.

I just want to be a part of this very informative forum. I would like to exchange insights based on experience.

As of now I only have 2 concerns. First is my Police Clearance coming from FBI, wherein after 3 unsuccessful request attempts I had been denied due to illegible fingerprints. My letter from CIC (dont know if this is the LOA) says that the documents sent were already complete. So does this mean, the Police clearance provided by the Philippine Government where I had been living for the last 9 years enough, or would they still require the one from FBI later on?

My second concern is about our passports which will expire on September 2014. When is the best time to renew it?

Definitely, you will be asked to provide the FBI clearance later... renew your passport now...

Agrees, you will definitely will be asked to provide an FBI clearance if you have lived in the US within the past 10 years. And you should renew your passport as soon as possible.

Sept 19, 2012 - AOR
Mar 11, 2013 - Phone interview
March 27, 2013 - LOA via email
May 7, 2013 - Recieved LOA via mail
May 16, 2013 - Submission to CIO
July 16, 2013 - AOR from CIO

Aug 6, 2013 - Medical Request
Aug 19, 2013 - Medicals Done, RPRF paid through bankdraft
Sept 19, 2013 - Submission of additional medical requirement for our daughter
*Developmental Pedia report
*OT report
*EENT clearance report
*IQ Test

Oct 17, 2013 - Letter for our daughter's Excessive Demand (Our daughter has autism)
*They let us know that they will not shoulder out daughter's special needs and they
required us to submit a waiver and a workable plan on how we can support our daughter.

Nov 3, 2013 - Submission of Waiver and additional documents for Excessive Demand.

We still haven't confirmed if or when our bank drafts have been encashed. I'll check when asap.

If i sent ilets on january with my cio application ( regarding its validity expire on 18 feb2014)
That ilets would be valid once they receive my file after 2 days DHL shippment
Or it must be valid till they send AOR which i think takes around one month from receiving ?!

hi lalabaul, my passport was delivered using courier (LBC) last saturday but it was not received yet because it was holiday. so, they will only re send it today...


question, i asked for a plane ticket booking on some agencies but they are asking for a copy of our visa? is this really one of the requirements in booking a flight? :
