No worries dear, I made the same mistake when I submitted my application last February 2013 and yet I did not encounter any problem. In fact, I just received MR this morning.

Hello there guys! Been away for quite a long time now. Congratulations and good luck to all of us! Special thanks to Tweety, I remember I asked her few questions before I filed my application.

This is my updated timeline:

LOA dated November 12, 2012 received on November 29, 2012;
Application sent to CIO on February 15, 2013;
Application received by CIO: February 20, 2013;
AOR from CIO: March 28, 2013;
MR: April 30, 2013

It is nice to be back. ;D
Thanks mate. Congrats for your Medical.

hi,

Can you clarify my understanding about 2 mailing labels?

Does it mean I need to put my home address twice like a label and include it in the envelope for my cic application?

and for my cic application, the main documents needed are the copies of my birth certifficate, ielts, passport, national ID, loa, bank draft.

They no longer need my parents' birth certificates and elder brothers? nomore employment, diplomas, birth certificate of my uncle(sponsor)?

Hello! Yes, you need to prepare two mailing labels just like the mailing address on your acknowledgment letter and the LOA you received from CIO. I printed mine on a sticker paper, cut it out and secured with a paper clip together with the bankdraft and our pictures.

As to the main documents needed, just follow the checklist. Just attach the supporting documents for you as the principal applicant and for your dependant, if any and that's it. By the way, be sure to update the forms you will be using, so better check the website.

Best of luck on your application! :)

Only PHOTOCOPIES of the original documents.

guys, how about for the photos??
I dont have any dependents, does it mean that i should only provide my 6 identical copies of photos OR should I also provide my parents and elder brothers photos?(as family members and not dependents)

and again in RPRF it will be paid on the later stage right? for this cic application, the bankdraft amount should only be for the processing and application fees which is in total of $550?? please correct me if im wrong. Thanks

@ simplex, thank you for the answers. ;) Need to be keen on this one to prevent errors.

Oh I see, from what I understand, the pictures of those who will accompany you are needed. I am not sure though. Our friends here can give you a more concrete answer.

Yes, it's $550, others paid the processing fee and the RPRF at the same time but you have the option to pay the latter at a later stage when you will be asked to.

It should be only your photo (six pcs.) since your family members are not accompanying you. Follow the instructions on what to write on the photos. Follow the photo specs.

It seems that most interviewees now were requested for updated COE. I encounter the same senario, they requested for my updated COE because i have 2 jobs, 1 fulltime and 1 part time. How about you why do you think they scrutinize your work history? may I know who interviewed you? maybe our interviewer is one and the same. Or if not, maybe it is really the trend now, they are more meticulous with the work experience of the applicant.

Why not just pay online via credit card which more convenient? if you're interested, I have copied my previous post regarding online payment below.

I just did pay online with my credit card and I'm here in Jeddah. Everything went smoothly. I was issued an official receipt which I printed, filled-up and enclosed with my application package. Here's how to do it...

1. Go to CIC website.
2. Click "pay your fees".
3. Choose option "pay your fees online".
4. After some further info regarding online payment, 2 clicks away and you will get into the "Online Payment".
5. Choose "Immigration"
6. Choose "Provincial Nominee"
7. Fill-in the applicable "application type and quantity of applications" (RPRF is included in the list)
8. Click submit and then a Summary of Fees" will appear.
9. Click "Pay"

Then you will be transferred to a secured website to provide your credit card details. Just follow the instructions. It's the same as you are shopping online.

There's no harm trying it yourself to check until step 9. Unless you rpovide you credit car details, you will not be charged.

As what I have read, it is more better not to engage in any consultant that is not accredited by the Canadian government, since you will have a support settlement plan from your friend I think that is enough, you don't need a consultant to process your application. It will also save you more money rather than giving your $ to your consultant... You can apply online which is more faster than mail application. ;D
