Re: MPNP Application 2013

Hi All,

I'm new to this forum and need your help and advise. I'm planning to apply for MPNP (skilled worker with a strong family connection) by the end of March, 2013. My husband is the PA and right now we are in the process of collecting all the relevant documents and filling up the requisite forms. I need help in filling the settlement forms like what are the acceptable reasons for opting manitoba, city winnipeg (apart from my husband's sister staying there), steps to taken by you for meeting the requirements for working in Manitoba;
Since my husband's work is regulated, what steps are to be followed to start the licensing process before arriving at manitoba.
What skills need to be upgraded? What are they expecting here, I'm a little confused.
How much is the acceptable networth by the authorities, though minimum amount is mentioned.

Similarly for Settlement Plan 2

Kindly guide me regarding the major questions.

Describe your relationship with the applicant
Her settlement plan for us
How to find suitable housing
assistance in meeting daily requirements initially
How she will connect us to the settlement services in manitoba.

Since i'm filling the forms now wud be grateful if any you all can help me through.

Thx

Hi guys!

Does anybody here received their LOA through a sponsor's address in Manitoba? I just want to know how long it took to reach their sponsor. My sponsor was interviewed last Feb. 15. Normally, MPNP makes a decision a day or two after the interview and by now the decision letter should be in my sponsor's mailbox. I just hope that they did not send it to my home address here in Jeddah! Saudi Posts don't deliver mails to home address! If there's no mail until Thursday, I will send email to MPNP to follow-up. I've done the same for my sponsor's interview, 3 days after they've called my sponsor! :( :( :(

Good idea. It is already two weeks now since they interviewed your sponsor, I expected you to have received the LOA by now.

Hi I got an email from CIO dated February 26, 2013. It says that my application is considered complete and will forwarded to a visa office. It is also written that the correspondence acknowledges receipt of my fee payment.

My questions are
1) Is the email I received was AOR from CIO?
2) What are the next step?

Thanks.

Kindly provide the following information concerning the application:

Docs received by CIO:
PF Type: Credit Card or Bank draft:
PF Encashed Date:
AOR-CIO:

I received and email from CIO today that they will forward my application to a visa office. So The next letter would be a request for medical?

It depends but most likely it should be MR and request for any other documents not included with you application to CIO. In my own case it was MR and RPRF.

I suppose that you are planning to send your application via snail mail. I strongly suggest that you apply ONLINE wherein applications are processed faster. Surf the MPNP website regarding the steps in licensing process for your husband. With the other questions, just answer it thruthfully. There is no right or wrong answer.

How long did you wait for your MR after you received your AOR-CIO? Hopefully I will also receive request for MR an RPRF. Thanks very much.

Congrats Vikpreet! Goodluck. Hopefully the rest of us here in this forum could also be a Manitoba resident in the near future.
