MPNP Application 2012

Goodday all;
Goodnews in the air, after my sponsor's interview on the 11th of Feb and all requested documents sent, my sponsor told me yesterday that he has my LOA right in his hands as it was delivered to him in Manitoba. May God perfect all that concerns all those still in the waiting process.

Kindly update my timeline on the sheet. Kindly update me on how you packaged your documents to CIC, am from naija too. What and what do i need to put inplace, i have the documents like i sent earlier to MPNP, what else do i need to attach, Police report and all that. My sponsor would DHL the LOA to me today. Kindly update me.

We haven't got any feedback from our sponsor/friend in Manitoba.

That's right Poutine2012! It doesn't matter if our applications are taking longer than others. But, once we got the approval it will be just the same as the others.

Hello, Just want to know what happens if you get PR through MPNP program and settle in other provinces? Are there any consequences ? Can they revoke the PR?

Also, if you live in Manitoba through MPNP but in near future you get good job opportunity in other province, can you go settle there?

Please solve my query.

It will defeat the primary purpose of MPNP which is to boost the working force of the province to support its growing economy. Since you made a formal declaration that you intend to live and work permanently in Manitoba, you can be liable to making false statement which can be a subject for sanctions (revocation of PR can be one it).

Your sponsor will be banned from supporting other relatives/friends in the future. I think you have really a plan not to stay in Manitoba that's why you are posing this question.

Hi, I am planning MPNP through the exploratory visit and not through any sponsor. I was only asking because what if in future I or my wife get a better job opportunity elsewhere in Canada. Because of my profession, it is quite possible. I want to understand this program very well before I decide to go for it.

I'm working for 10 1/2 yrs under logistics in a manufacturing company as an inventory Coordinator.
Im applying under GS, sponsors are 2 close friends. Im the p.a and have my daughter and husband as my dependents....
Do you think i'm eligible enough to migrate?
Haiz it seems that they are carefully selecting immigrants depending on applicants' working experience.

Yes, you are definitely eligible. Just wait awhile...MPNP is actually working on their backlog on GS applicants (especially those who applied by mail) since they have recently launched ONLINE application for GS. That is also one reason why suddenly the FS (mail & online) applications have slow movement due to GS backlog.

Congrat zeemama and timeline updated. I actually used 27 Feb as date of receipt of LOA even though you did not give an exact date. On how to package your application, I would suggest you just follow the checklist and with that you will be fine. You will need the police report which you can apply for at Force Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Alagbon, Ikoyi, Lagos.
