Hello Everyone,

I just want to share my MPNP application. I applied on 28th Oct 2012 online under FS and my sponsor who is my aunt in Manitoba got interviewed three days ago on 20th Feb 2013. Please see my application details below:

Application Type: online
Stream: Family
Application submitted: 28th Oct 2012
AOR File # received: 30th Oct 2012
Additional Doc Requested: I was requested additional documents three times: 1. SP2 requested on 05/11/2012 and submitted on 19/11/2012. 2. Birth Certificates of my mother and my aunt to show they have same parents. This was requested on 13/12/2012 and submitted on 17/12/2012. 3. After interviewed my aunt, the case officer asked my master degree and my SP1 (I feel very strange why they need it as I have submitted it online already). I submitted on 22/02/2013 directly to the case officer.
Sponsor interviewed: 20/02/2013
Current Status: Waiting for LOA

Sponsor Interview details: It was a kind long interview. My aunt said it was at least 20 mins. First the officer asked several standard questions like what is my name, how long do you know each other, how often you contact each other and what is the last time you contacted. Then she asked things about my aunt like how she went to Canada and settle down in Manitoba. She said she was sponsored by my uncle in Montreal and she has no plan going back to there as she can not find a job in there as people speaking French. But the officer did not ask if I want to go to Montreal. At last, the officer asked how she will help me to settle down in Winnipeg and what is the first thing I will do after I arrived in there. She said she will help me to find an accommodation, give all sorts of information and so on and the first thing I will do in Winnipeg is finding a job.

That is my details of my application. I hope it is usefully in someway. Good luck to everyone's application.

Your sponsor will be informed via email to submit SP2 plus supporting documents (health card, birth certificates marriage certificates, etc. as applicable ... depending on the relationship being proven). Sponsor's tax return is usually not asked. After about 3 to 4 months of waiting after submitting SP2, your sponsor will be interviewed by phone. After another 2 to 4 weeks of waiting, MPNP will let you know their decision via snail mail through the mailing address you have mentioned in your application (rejection or LOA).

no not yet.. that's the reason why i got worried. i just received the medical request.. as far as i know, we need to pay the RPRF once the passport is requested..

i just saw tweety's timeline on the excel sheet that she paid first for the RPRF before doing her medicals.. or maybe its a typo??.. i dunno..

thanks! :)

You dont need to worry. Your visa office will send you the RPRF at the appropriate time. Tweety paid for the application fee and the RPRF at the time of filing her application to CIC Nova Scotia.
