Hi Deejeetee!

Are you under General Stream? If you are under GS then I believe there is big possibility that you will be interviewed as well, like what happened to our dear Tweety05. However, I haven't read anything about an employer that has been interviewed by an immigration officer. I believe you should be truthful in all your answers so as not to complicate matters.

Actually, my sister-in-law did not answer correctly the questions asked about me either but see, we received our LOA already. I guess what is left for you to do is just pray and hope that everything will be okay. Miracle happens, just have faith. :)

I hope this eases your worries even just a bit. God bless! :)

I applied under Family Stream simplex :)
Anyways, Congratulations on your LOA. Just checked, we're June batchmates.
From where are you from? Me, I'm from Philippines
Thanks

Hi, my employer has also been interviewed right after my sponsors interview.. The MPNP officer verifies information regarding my employment with her. And since its 12 midnight here in my country when the officer interviewed her, she cannot remember the exact inclusive dates of my employment record.. She informed the officer that she cannot provide the exact dates since it was on the record in her office.. Then the officer told her that she will just e mail my employer.. my employer responded to the officers e mail after a week.. on the day the officer receive my employers e mail she also interviewed me to verify information.. still waiting for my decision letter.. God Bless us!!!

Oh i see. Thanks Kaye. Now I think I need to prepare myself too. ;)
Kaye, from where are you exactly in the Philippines? Me, Iloilo City.
Goodluck to all of us.

The only consolation Deejeetee will have on this info, is that Kaye applied under GS and DJT applied under FS. There might be a chance that DJT's employer will not be contacted at all.

Thanks ad123164. That's what I'm praying for. And hoping for their positive response.
you're able to lighten up my loads of anxieties because of your kind words :)

The info I received is for ALL applications. Unfortunately, based on those who applied previously under GS it takes 3 to 4 months before getting an AOR. Hopefully, it will be lesser since your application together with mine (I applied online under FS on OCt. 25) will reviewed before year-end.

well let's cross our fingers for that dude, and I do believe that God will help us to achieve our goal in life. God bless.

To Senior Members:

Can I unilaterally (w/o MPNP request) provide additional documents which I failed to upload in my online application??? I realized that I forgot to include the "Duties & Responsibilities" for my present employment. I plan to send it by email. If in case, what MPNP email address should I use?

We'll I guess, there's nothing to lose when you do this. At least there is a chance that they will accept it and add it to your file than to do nothing and just wait for your application package to be returned which happens in most cases.

If you do this include your file number.

This is only my opinion, wait for other members post so you can decide on what's best to do.

Thanks for the reply. I have already sent the missing document. I'll check on Monday whether they will acknowledge receipt. I expect that they will start assessing my application by next week based on the timelines and posts of other forum members.

FOR DEEJEETE:

What will I answer if they'll ask me of my present job and why I quit work? Will I answer what is true or the same as my aunt's answer in order to be our answer to coincide?
If solely by the interview of the sponsor, the officer is decided to give his final decision then he will not call you anymore but if he wants to give you a chance to clarify things then he will call you as well. About the the answers if he will call you, in my opinion, you need to tell the truth, and as much as you'll explain by not contradicting the info that your sponsor said then do it. It will be hard but another lie, will cause you more problem if they'll find out.

Is anybody here, or somebody here has an experience or idea if employers have been called for an interview too? I'm praying hard that they will not call my employer anymore :o I'm afraid, what if they'll call my employer and asked if I'm still working with them and my employer will tell them that I'm still in there company? Do you think it will create problem or reason for me to be refused on my application? Do I need to tell my employer that in case they'll call they will just say that I'm not with them anymore? I'm so confuse and bothered
Someone in the forum, Kaye, her current employer was interviewed as well after the sponsor and after a week, she was interviewed too. Now, she's waiting for her decision letter. Honestly, it will affect your application if they found out the truth but if you can give them a good explanation on why your sponsor said those things at least you have a chance.

Please give me insights on these. Can't hardly eat and sleep because I'm waiting for a call from them too. Which I pray that they wont.
Thank you in advance> May God bless us all.
For now, be ready if they will call you, be prepared. And of course prayers, it really works.

Good luck and God bless :)

hello frnd..
Is their any link or number for know about application status......
I dnt received LOA,I have applied in september2011 and received AOR in november2011..

To members who recently submitted application to CIC:

Kindly advise if my understanding is correct... For birth and marriage certificates: As it is, as received from NSO will be the ones to be submitted because they are already "certified true copies of the original". There is no need to photocopy and notarized.

To those who have submitted CIC application:

1. In filling-up the forms, do I need to put my MIDDLE NAME?
2. What is the "Proof of full custody for children under the age of 18 and proof that the children may be removed from the jurisdiction of the court"? What kind of document should be attached as "proof"???

Can anyone offer a reply for the above questions?

Hi! My sponsor is my First Cousin (Her father is my mother's elder brother). In the Birth Certificate window for the relative/sponsor in the MPNP online application, should I also attach the Birth Cert of my uncle & my mother for proof of my relation to my cousin?

Thank you. :)

I think that you should include BC's of your uncle and your mother in order to establish that you have the same set of grandparents...i.e. that you are indeed first cousins.
