Hi Gillpunjab, please check on this site:

Hey,BK,where are you? What is going on?Did you get your transcripts?

Kidlat, did you mention the new application that you are now re-apply, because I'm in the same situation and I'm not sure whether to mention it or not? And please tell me why you applied in Winnipeg office, it is much faster online!

Hi Sweat Darling,
what objection you got ?????

Ah,Underthesea,it`s a sad story! :'(
The transcripts were missing to a degree so they returned whole application back and said that we could re-apply online because it is much faster! I hope I`ll re-apply soon! ;D

@ gurminder, i received a request for further documentation just last week and submitted the docs today. Hopefully they assess my file soon & give me a positive response. :-) I've updated my timeline below. Just praying for patience and a good outcome.

I applied last January, last april i got a letter indicating that i didnt meet the criteria for the following reasons: ielts score, 3 mos bank account history and current cert of employment but i can reapply once completed..there is a file number written in the letter starting in MBxxxx-xxxxx...i completed all the necessary docs so i resubmitted the whole application last July 20 through mail also but i indicate my file number there..maybe it will be a help to process my application quicker and so that they will know that i already have a record from them..Right now still waiting and praying everything will be ok.. god bless us!

Settlement Plans 1 & 2 are now being asked even for General Stream applicants. As far as I know, this is in replacement for MAS Forms starting Oct 1, 2012 although MAS Forms can still be accepted until Oct 1, 2012 only.

Settlement Plan 1 is to be be filled up by the applicant while Settlement Plan 2 is for the sponsor. It is somehow the same as the MAS form but it is more comprehensive.

Please check on the link that salbakuta gave you to further read about it.

I am wondering because you already submitted your application with MAS forms last March 2012. So, in our case, I submitted Feb 2012, I believe that MAS forms are okay. Are you asking these for someone else?

I concur. Online application is taking a while to process. The information we heard was that they had too many applications to deal with and also some staff went on vacation during summer reducing the manpower to process these applications.

I expect to see an improve now that summer break is over.
