hi tweety05.. just when did u apply under the family stream? hows ur application status now?

Nope, I applied under General Stream. My father's 1st cousins sponsored me and they submitted it directly to MPNP Office last February 17.

My auntie and I received the letter of AOR, June 15. For now, we are still waiting for the interview. We are really hoping that it will be this month or next month, fingers crossed.

We can't predict but if we will base it from other applications for family stream (mail) this year, you may expect it anytime this month or the most until next month.

We'll see.

Good luck. Keep on praying

Thank you tweety.....

Dear tweety,

We missed you here BK, welcome back :)

It my pleasure to update our TS and to answer queries.

Does it mean that from 6-7 months of processing it will then be 8-9 months from application to LOA?

...@ TWEETY

one thing to clarify ... if the person nominated say in manitoba wants to settle outside the province...how many years does the person needs to stay in manitoba before he/she can go and settle to other state? coz as far as i know , the sponsor will be affected if you will break the rule of not establishin inside the province within a certain period of time?

I concur. Online application is taking a while to process. The information we heard was that they had too many applications to deal with and also some staff went on vacation during summer reducing the manpower to process these applications.

I expect to see an improve now that summer break is over.

Hi Emperor, thanks for the info. I hope and pray that we'll hear some good news soon with all the members here.... :)

Dear,

Legally there is nothing, but yes it will impact on the sponsor and the applicant from the point that they will not be preferred to sponsor more people.

Its 3 years duration ( as per my consultant and sponsor )
