I got refusal letter dated August 30,2012... they stat in letter you having a weak connection to Manitoba was the main reason for your decision not to nominate.

Hi, I am also planning to submit my application to CIO-NS this week. Hope you don't me asking what is the Bank Certificate is for? Was it requested from you as an additional document? I have checked the CIO Check list and I can't find the requirement for Bank Certificate or could it be I have overlooked it in the list . appreciate your response on this. Thanks!

I'm sorry for what happened

May I know if you have any relatives in other province of Canada?

Did you ask your sponsor if how was the sponsor's interview? Were you interviewed as well?

I think these are the two possible reasons for having a weak connection to Manitoba.

Is settlement plan required in MPNP General stream (Applied through mail)

I applied my case (MPNP General steram) through mail in 2010 dec and settlement plan was not mentioned there when I applied. Should my sponsor write the settlement plan and then I mail it as my appeal ? Can I do it ? or Settlement plan is not required in my case ?

I applied through mail in 2010.

I am asking it because my MPNP General stream case was rejected and in one option they said that I haven't demonstrated the ability and intention to establish myself in Manitoba.

I am also wondering if MPNP requires you to submit bank certficate along with other required docs for visa application? Because in the checklist it is not included.

I hope you are not mixing up bank draft for payment of Permanent Resident (PR) fee with bank certification.

Please re-confirm this, as that is the only way an advise can be proffer to you. If you actual mean bank draft for fee payment then it should be addressed to:

What do you think should I put in a new application that I apply for the second time since we returned complete application by mail, because some documents were missing.
And what about national identity card?Could it be passport?! May I leave this field empty?

i don't mind at all. ^_^
its because they are requesting for the "schedule 4 economic classes- provincial nominee" and we need to state how much funds we have. true, the bank cert is not mentioned in the checklist but i think it would be necessary to include it with the application as a proof of the funds i have.

i have a cousin who submitted thesame requirement last year. the only difference is that with her, it was directly submitted to the Visa Office while ours still needs to go to Nova Scotia. i'm going to ask her again.. maybe its completely different now.. i'll try to ask her for the checklist she followed.
