I just need some help, i am applying for general stream and i been working in a call center for 9 yrs and have a degree, do I still need to take IELTS with the new policy? or a certificate from my employer stating that English is our main language in the company, will do? thank you in advance.

hi! i think you would still be asked to take the ielts. I'm also working in the call center industry for 7 years as a tech support L2, graduate of AB Psychology and i applied under family stream, still they requested for my ielts result. i think it depends on the National Occupational Classification (NOC) - they consider call center experience as class c or d-

The NOC is divided into five (5) bands:
Skill Type 0 Management Occupations;
Skill Level A which is primarily comprised of professional occupations;
Skill Level B which consists of technical, skilled trades and paraprofessional occupations;
Skill Level C which comprises occupations that mainly consist of intermediate level, clerical or supportive functions;
Skill Level D which consists of elemental sales or service and primary labourer occupations.

Hi All,

Is there anyone on this forum that a primary applicant submitted a bank certificate and bank statement but was joint account to parents.

Is it possible to send that way or it should be name on primary applicant only?

Is there anyone also who send a new open account and wasnt able to send a 6 months bank statement.

Hey, I opened a new account because my previous bank got sold and I didn't like the new bank... I didnt have access to my previous statements and had history of only 2 months with the new bank. All I did is submit the 2 months of history and wrote a letter explaning why only 2 months, why I decided to close my old account and why I didn't have access to previous history from the previous bank.
So far no one asked me any more questions about it (submited my aplication a month ago)...

Hi,

Kindly update my record, April 16, 2012 I received my AOR requesting for IELTS, 3 months current bank account history & current employment certificate. After completing the docs and passing IELTS my auntie in Winnipeg submitted the additional documents last July 18, 2012. Still waiting for a reply.
