Hi,

Kindly update my record, April 16, 2012 I received my AOR requesting for IELTS, 3 months current bank account history & current employment certificate. After completing the docs and passing IELTS my auntie in Winnipeg submitted the additional documents last July 18, 2012. Still waiting for a reply.

I chose this thread because it seems all members in here are very helpful.
Anyway please help me with my concerns in filling-up the settlement plan 1 form.

How do you usually answer these questions:

1. If your occupation is regulated, what steps will you take to meet the requirements for working in this occupation in Manitoba? (***The occupation is electronics eng'g (regulated)***)

2. If your occupation is regulated, can you start the licensing process before you arrive? Yes or No

3. If your occupation is regulated, what steps will you take to meet the requirements for working in this occupation in Manitoba?

4. Are you planning to upgrade your job skills before you arrive in Manitoba?

Please help me on this.
I would be very much grateful.

hi im newbie here submitted my application online august 3 and received my file number on the same date just want to ask if mpnp requested you to submmit ielts? Congats!

yes im under Family Stream and my sponsor will send her SP2 tomorrow..i didnt include an ielts result on my application..because as stated ielts is required for those under NOC Code level C or D..my occupation falls under level B..I pray that mpnp will not request me any additional documents. God is good my application was submitted august 3 after 3 hours i received my file number.

Yeah that was such a big relief. Congrats!
Based from the site, they only said that it is recommended that all MPNP applicants submit ielts test results but mandatory for thos under NOC Code level C or D. Let's just pray they will not ask for ielts result but if they will, the next schedule for ielts exam is on Sept 22. It's not that long wait anyway

hello guyz....i think i need to take ielts for cic requirements....But during sponsor's interview they didn't ask additional requirements and my cousin just worried that they will return my papers if lacking some docs on the new checklist. Please any links or sites to recommend about IELTS? Starting now for self review.....

Another inquiry, new requirement for general stream is to use the settlement plan 2 by your sponsor, which in our case is a friend. Although it says in the website the mas will still be accepted until oct 1. Anyway,He just informed us thru email that he just sponsored a relative who applied thru online. But he is still willing to sponsor us. But we are wondering if he can still sponsor us since it says in the website that "someone who is not currently supporting the settlement of another Mpnp applicant"?

Just to share with you....my principal applicant also falls under Level B, Major Group 51 of NOC Matrix. We received our AOR & MB File number last 9 July and MPNP required to submit IELTS result......thanks.

@anisci----- nothing to worry about...ive just read what u said...it didnt say that ur friend can't sponsor you if he/she sponsored someone(s) before...it's almost the same as the MAS form except they added some things...Go ahead on your application...anyway old MAS forms are still accepted til oct 1....Just PRAY !!!!

Dear,

I would like to second Salbakuta comment here it seems tht its kind of required for most of the applicants to submit ielts results inspite of what skill set you fall in.

I would advice dont wait just prepare and go for the exams.
