Hi Everyone

I have one confusion.

I have a Ph.D offer from Alberta University. But I have been nominated by the Manitoba Province Nominee Programme and waiting for Visa. My wife is a principal Applicant.

My Question is: May I do Ph.D in Alberta University with this VISA?? or Must i have to live/study/work in Manitoba Province only???

Finally i got my AOR on 19th July 2013. I am so happy as my file was return due to one form missing and i sent on 21st May 2013. They have received on 27th May 2013. After facing all this i came through. God bless me with AOR. They said "Your application will be forwarded to a visa office for further processing.", so my concern is that where they will send my file? Moreover in how much time i will get medical and visa?

Guys with all your guidance and help i came through. Thanks a lot. God bless you all.

Dear Emperor please update my timeline. Also mention what i face in getting AOR so other applicants get benefit of it.

Thanks mate. As per this tracking sheet it seems that it will take nearly 3 months to arrive at VO. Who is the moderator of this tracking sheet?

Hi Dipanchokshi! Congrats on your AOR! If i may asked how long when u first submitted ur docs to CIO and returned it to you??? Im still waiting for my AOR its been 53days so im anxiously waiting..

Generally they take 60-65 days in India for AOR (If you have applied from India). I think you should wait till. Surely AOR will arrive in this time.
Now regarding the returning file, they have sent me file from canada and i receive it after 2 months. I dont know why postal service take this many days?

Could someone answer my questions about medical please.
How long it takes after Medical done to update the status in Ecase to Medical recived. from the sheet it seems 1 mounth.
Dose this update mean they just recived the pakge or it means they checked it and the medical stage is finished.
is updateing the status in Ecase is mandatory or sometimes they dont update the status and go forward in the process without updating.

On Generic application form to Canada IM0008, under Personal details, I cannot type N/A in the UCI , can i answer it in handwritten or shall live it blank?

Hi All,

I have received LOA and asked to submit file to CIC. I have gone through checklist 5690 for PNP applicant. It hardly ask for any documents. Only aked for Passport copies, Nominatin copy, IELTS copy, Birth Certificate, Marriage Certificate, PCC and Photos.

Is this correct? I only need to submit these documents only.
Also documents requried are in copy.. Do I need to have certified copy of all documents or normal copy?

Please help me to send correct documents.

Yes thats all, in addition to the original LOA letter. there is no need to submitt bank certificate, education or experiance certificate.
In the website they say that all copies should be certified, and that what I did.

Hi,
Ecas status is depend on your Visa Officer. But once your status change into Medical Results have been received, it means that they already checked your medical results.
You cannot rely on E-cas as said by other forum members.
