Hi everyone. I would like to clarify some stuff as I am now preparing for CIC docs...

The copies that they require in the checklist like IELTS, passport copies, birth certiifcate, LOA etc., are just photo copies or certified true copies (notarized)?

Also, a friend is asking me about the minimum required IELTS score. Would anyone know what's the minimum language requirement to apply to MPNP? Thank you

Maybe you are right as it not fair on GS applicant that theirs is processed so slowly.

I have a friend sponsoring his brother. He filed his brother application in December and he was interviewed a week and so few days ago, while som GS have not even received AOR.

It is well.

Photocopies are what CIC require.

How to fill GENERIC APPLICATION FORM Question 12 "Previous countries of residence" if I had previously lived in USA for 7 months: for 3 months I held the status of EXCHANGE VISITOR, then for 4 months - STUDENT.

What about to choose "Other" as a Status from the list and write "Exchange visitor; Student" in the appropriate field?????????????????

Please any advices!!!

As per my knowledge its 4.0.

I think it should be min of 5.0 overall band score? Pls clarify.

Also,make sure to target more than 5 because as far as I can remember, the higher the band score the more points that you can get.

As for the language minimum requirement... before, they used to post clearly what the minimum requirements were.. but now, from what i understand, the higher the score the better since it will add to points for eligibility.... thanx everyone...

First, no problem with the expiry of your LOA as you have already initially submitted your CIO application before its expiry.

Regarding IMM5669, make the exactly same table in a separate sheet (use Excel) complete with the heading and other details (i.e. exact replica of item 7. Education). In the original form write "Refer to attached additional sheet. Allocated space is not enough for entry of complete details". Field of Study... for ex. secondary education, Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, etc.

I just read your message you wont believe what confidence i got from your message. Thanks for letting me know on LOA expiry issue. Moreover i am sending only documents that are on checklist. I have submitted educational,job experience and Bank statement docs. Please confirm this again.

That is absolutely correct! Choose the option "other" whenever the correct description of a certain item/subject does not appear in the choices.

The thing is I went to US under Work and Travel Program (Exchange Visitor) and while participating I changed my status to STUDENT and moved to another city to study language at the institute.

Do I need my traveling to US divide into 2 periods in "Supplementary Information - Your travels Form" because there I also have to show the purpose of travel, the City and Country.
