Hi there,

It is my first time to post in the forum.
I live in winnipeg and sponsored my brother through family stream online
His time line is
Submit documents Feb 22 2013
File # Feb 23 2013
Submit SP2 Feb 25 2013
I have few questions :
How long it will take to answer me back with the interview?
After the interview and godwilling to get the LOA what I am gonna submit for him ( which documents ) and is it originals or copies and can I send it from canada by myself but after he signs them or he has to send them by himself?

thanks

Emperor,
may I ask if they will request for another bank cert or statement after approval for MPNP?

Hello Emperor, Tweety (not talking much these days) , ad , victory & all forum speakers .

i made a mistake, actually i filled all canadian government forms back in may 2012, same time as i filled MPNP application form and ended up giving my cousin's contact address and email id. So as confirmed by most of you AOR by CIC goes to mail given in application form, so I contact my cousin and to look out for SPAM folder too. So going forward he would keep an eye but if something came in SPAM till now would have got deleted. now ageing of actual reciept is gone up to 58 days as per DHL website package was received on 18th Feb.

My questions:

1. Should i cross check with CIC by writing a mail to them at FSW-Sydney-Search-Enquiry@cic.gc.ca - if they have already sent confirmation and reconfirm AOR.
2. Should I request them to change email and mailing address right now or first get file# and then request a change.
3. Has anyone ever mailed to this enquiry mail before and do they reply or is there any other way to contact them like a helpline.
4. how did you guys find timeline for draft encashed, as bank in my hometown says only beneficiary can tell you if they have presented draft or not.

Maximum waiting period for AOR i have noticed on timelines sheet is 61 days.I am getting nervy not because of processing time as I am fine with slow or medium/fast processing, whatever it be, my concern is more about bank draft - has that been encashed or not and just a nod that they have the application with them.
Regards

Dipan,

if you are awaiting AOR from CIC NS, it would come through email as informed by Emperor as reply to one of my question. In fact if you see questions posted by me just above your post, you will see my questions are mostly like yours and sure emperor & co. will come up with some useful answers.

No. After your nomination letter (LOA) has been issued, MPNP don't ask for any document inclusive of bank cert or statement again.

But your VO may request for it. This is obvious with applicants whose files are being processed in London Visa Office.

You can but would suggest you use your uncle's email since that was what was filed in the application form. Afterwards you can now change your address and email to yours accordingly. BTW when did you file your application to CIC.

2. Should I request them to change email and mailing address right now or first get file# and then request a change.

It is better when you have your file number.

3. Has anyone ever mailed to this enquiry mail before and do they reply or is there any other way to contact them like a helpline.

Did not have cause to email CIC, so cannot really say but know you can email CIC if there is delay in getting a feedback from them after applying for PR.

4. how did you guys find timeline for draft encashed, as bank in my hometown says only beneficiary can tell you if they have presented draft or not.

I used credit card for the payment of my application fee so was able to track when the charge was made. It is also mentioned in the AOR when the charge was made by CIC, so I believe that is when one gets to knopw about draft encashed.

Maximum waiting period for AOR i have noticed on timelines sheet is 61 days.I am getting nervy not because of processing time as I am fine with slow or medium/fast processing, whatever it be, my concern is more about bank draft - has that been encashed or not and just a nod that they have the application with them.

Relax, you will soon overcome this concern and anxiety. It is a stage and we all will pass through it.

Dipan,

You will soon get past this wait :). It took me 54 days to get my AOR. Check out this November 2012 PNP thread in order to help you have an idea as to the average waiting period before receipt of AOR from CIC:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Arq4O7UkDMdwdFVXOVNRTG9rNlpYbVdKVl8zYXpuR3c#gid=0

AOR is communicated via email unless you did not include an email address that is when they will send it via regular mail

guys after getting the LOA, and when sending the application to CIC, it is together with the processing fee???

Yeah. You have to include the processing fee when filing with CIC Nova Scotia. My advice is that ensure you follow the requirements of the PNP Checklist. It helps prevent any omission.

Yes. You must submit fee payment form (IMM 5620). When you download the form, you will find the instructions there, like in what form to pay (certified cheque, bank draft, credit card, money order).

Also, don't forget to download the checklist (IMM5690) which you must incude with the package. All the forms and documents you need to include and send are listed there. Goodluck!
