i suggest not to contact them on phone. they are usually very busy; and with few of them going/gone on vacation (christmas + new year).
When did you file your MPNP online app? and under what category?

I noticed a lot of Strategic Initiative (exploratory visit) applications getting cleared with LOA issued in under 2 months since October.

most of april MPNP applicants I knew have received LOA in the last week of Nov or 1st week of Dec.
May be you could send a gentle email requesting a status update. just wish MPNP a "merry christmas" with a smile at the end. It won't do any harm.

Dear Rupinder,

usually they do not respond the status of your application. but if you contact them by phone it does not harm on your application.Do not try to mail them it can delay your application as well as they will never respond by mail.I think now you are still under the normal processing time.Don't worry but whenever you want to contact them ask your sponcer to call them and they might respond.I contacted them couple of times by phone from India they even did not take my details from me they said once your application will assessed and when we will make the decision we will send you Letter.and then I request my sponcer to call them and check the status of our application. My sponcer called them by phone they took detail and they said your application is still under process once the processing will be complete you will get the Letter from our office. I hope it helps you.But i still suggess you not to contact them later January. keeps your fingers crossed

i have question regarding filling the CIC forms. I am applying for MPNP but still need to fill the CIC forms. There are some places in the form where it says that "DO NOT COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING SECTION. You may be asked to sign in the presence of the representative"

Should i leave that section blank and send the form to MPNP. Will the form still be considered complete from the MPNP officials??

Yes, leave it blank. It is only 1 form that has that instruction, as far as I can remember.

In schedule 4 form there is a section which asks the applicant that "which province has nominated you".?
I am applying for MPNP and haven't got nomination so should i leave that column or write Manitoba as i am applying for it.??

When answering CIC application forms, consider yourself as nominee already. So the answer is MANITOBA. That is how I fill out the forms and there's no problem with my application in MPNP.

Let wait for others opinions.

Hi Friends,
Finally update from my side...I got my Christmas gift...Yesterday my brother got my LOA with dated 24-October-2012 .

As I have not received LOA, on my own address, so i mailed mpnp to resend the LOA to my sponsor....and they resend LOA with in week after my mail..... and also enhanced the expiry of LOA by two months..............

This is all because of u guys.........

My cousin got my LOA yesterday. Now i have to takes step to get police certificate from UK as I have stayed there for quite long time and then will send my package.

are we all now sending application to sydney, nova scotia and not to local canadian embassy!!!
