Moving car from US to Calgary

Hi,

Getting quotes for moving a car. For moving from Atlanta to Calgary for 2011 Honda CR-V; the quote is little more than 2,000 dollars. Is that reasonable or too much?

I have thought about it; however, it takes around 36 hours to drive.

Well if you cant drive yourself, I can understand it. Long drives are not for everyone. The price seems to be at the higher end of the ballpark. A move from Toronto to Calgary cost me closer to $1000 3 years back. Your quote may be a couple hundred dollars more at the max, but take into account the border crossing hassles, it might be justified.

That's probably the right price. I doubt you can find a better price. Either sell the car or drive it yourself. It's not that hard if you move in summer, but in winter of course it's a different story, due to terrible Canadian weather.
