Hi again, I'm doing a job now in Quebec. Desperately searching for some opportunities in Ontario.
I've got hybrid work model at my office. So me coming to Quebec for 2 days to go to office and spend the rest in Ontario working from home, qualifies in anyway to start a spousal sponsorship from Ontario? Or will I still be attached to the Quebec process since my office is there and I am supposed to pay taxes to Quebec? Thank you!

Sorry I'm desparate and may seem like asking the same question, but I'm just looking for options. And trying to understand what exactly is tying me to the Quebec process if I start now - i.e. is it the taxes I pay to Quebec? Or is the company being based in Quebec? (Does it strictly matter where my company is and where I'm working from, during the application?)
You would still be tied to Quebec in many ways. For example you would not qualify for OHIP but RAMQ. Your employment location would still be considered Quebec so you haven’t broken ties to Quebec and could easily move back to Quebec once you receive PR. Tough to say how your application would be processed.

Thank you, I'm already a PR, was asking about how my situation affects me sponsoring my wife.

I suppose, I should probably start the spousal sponsorship only after I get a job in Ontario and start working there :|

If you want to be processed as a non-Quebec application then eliminate ties to Quebec.
