MOSCOW: Spouse Sponsorship

Here is the case. We recently got married and she is joining me in Kazakhstan on my sponsored residence visa. I am Canadian citizen. For residence of Kazakhstan, visa center is Moscow. My question is: Is there any minimum period she must stay here before she can file her PR? Also, what happens if I move to another country? will her visa office change or stay as Moscow?
I dont want to apply for her in her home country as it takes longer time there.

There is no minimum time that she must be there before she can apply but her Kazakhstan visa must be valid for at least one year.

The visa office will not change if you move to another country. If your wife requires in interview, she would be required to travel back to Kazakhstan for it.

Be aware that CIC does sometimes send an application to the applicant's country of nationality even if the country of residence is requested.

I would be VERY wary of using Moscow as the designated visa office. There have been reports on this forum of big problems inside that particular embassy. Please research before you jump...

Her Kazakh residence visa is up for renewal this April along with mine. Its issued for a year every year.
Do you know what parameters CIC applies guess where the visa office should be despite nominating by the candidate a visa office?

No. It has happened to a few people here on the forum but there is no distinct reason as to why CIC does it.
