Hello everyone, I am not in the list therefore they gave back my Money, I paid $ 1100 USD back in august 2008. I went to the bank with the check and the bank told me that the check is in $CAN how can be this possible. The check has the correct amount but only says dollars (it does not specify USD or CAN).
How can I request the rest of my money?

Maybe you paid it at a time that the C$ and US$ were the same? Immigration only works in C$ so if they got C$1100, that's what they will pay back to you, even if it's not the same in US$ anymore.

Bingo, actually in August of 08 the Canadian $ was .025 higher than the US $

Hi, could you let me know when and where you submitted your case. I'm also not in the 38 list. I submitted my case to Buffulo on March 07, 2008 but still not get any response for refusal and refund.
