Hi APPNOV2014NY,

Congrats on AOR. Were you asked for PCC in the same email for AOR? Thanks

No. I did not get any email to submit PCC. I decided to submit it as PCC from current country of residence is valid only for 6 months.

Hello Everyone,

I am new to this forum. I have a question, but I am not sure if it directly related to this topic or not.

I am a PhD students and I applied for CSQ, putting my wife as my accompanying spouse. I did it in June 2016. About 10 days ago, I have received the doc-request email. But, now I think I have a problem: When I have applied, I think if my wife and I officially being married it is enough to have her in my application as accompanying spouse. Now, it is more than 13 months that we are officially married, but it is about 9 months that we are living together. Before, that she was in my home country. What do you think? If I put our marriage certificates in addition to documents proving that we are leaving together since 9 months ago, do you think the officer accept it? What if they do not accept it? is there going to be a penalty for that?

I am a cap-exempt applicant!

If you are legally married then you do not need to show proof of co-habitation. Marriage certificate is enough.

Hi APPNOV2014NY,

Did you just sent only the PCC certificate in the mail? Or you sent the PCC along with some supporting document referring your file number?
My doubt is how Sydney Visa office will recognize that the mail is related to your file number?

Thanks.

Sydney office will use File No. and UCI no. to track down my application. I got these 2 numbers in my AOR email.

I sent PCC + Cover letter mentioning File No. ( EP#) , UCI No. , DOB and Full Name.

Thank you! I am wondering why in document request they did not ask for any document regarding our marital status, but they asked for proof of co-habitation. Do they make such kind of mistakes?

Hmm.. May be agent processing your file did not realize that you are legally married. If I was in your situation , I will explain in cover letter that I was legally married on X day and living together since Y day and attach marriage certificate as well as whatever co-habitation proof I have.
