Hello,

Applied for my citizenship online yesterday to realize today I have made a mistake: in work history I said I was working my latest job till May 2022, when I actually finished working April 24,2022 and applied for EI while looking for new contract, so May 2022 should be an unemployed status. How bad is that??? Do I just send a web form?

Webform might not work since your application doesn't have an AOR. Wait till you got the AOR and then call them or send a webform

I think a refusal on that basis is quite unlikely - even if incorrect, it's not something material to citizenship (esp since arguably only a week off). They're unlikely to think it's something you purposefully deceived them on (since it wouldn't much matter anyway).

Likely the worst that would happen is a bit of delay if they think other things need to be checked as a result of this error.

Correct it, apologize as good faith error, and relax.

Note, I'm not saying it's impossible that this might cause some problems, but if something is not material and could be something as simple as a typo. they're not likely to spend much time on it.

Web forms are ABSOLUTELY USELSS. The time it takes an agent to see your form is too long and they will return your application. It takes about 3 months for them too view your form
