I submitted my application online early this month, and was just reviewing some of the forms today, and noticed a mistake I made...
I'm the sponsor and representative, so I filled out IMM 5476 as such with my own contact information.
However on IMM 0008 I provided the same (my) email, but had the physical address as the applicant's. I must have misread the instructions.
So now I'm not sure whether I need to fix this or not.
- The Guide says "If you wish to have a representative who can conduct business on your behalf, you must provide their address in this section and on the Use of a Representative (IMM 5476) form."
- But IMM 0008 also says "All correspondence will go to this address unless you indicate your e-mail address below."
- Since I included an email address it seems like it would make the physical addresses irrelevant.
- But then I wonder if IRCC would return the application on a technicality.
Then if I should submit a fixed version, how does that work, since you can't edit it once you submit your application online...
Edit: Disregard, I was looking at my PDF version of IMM 0008; I had changed it to match on the online version. All good!
