If you look into the Instruction guide, it clearly says that you cannot apply before you are eligible ie 1095 days criteria is not fulfilled. The following is what instruction guide says
Note. Are you applying too early? If you apply before you meet the residence requirement you will not qualify for citizenship. Your application will be returned to you and you will have to reapply later.
In addition - Page 23 of Instruction guide says the following:
Section 10
Question 10
Note: You must be eligible to apply for Canadian citizenship the day before you sign the application form.
So, even if you send a correction letter, you cannot change the date and signature you already put in in the earlier application. They can reject the application and you will lose time if you wait.
Best course is to send the application again explaining about the initial application and the reason for new application. As mentioned by others, it will delay the process but BEST option.
