Hi everyone,
My husband and I recently received an email saying that our application will be processed in CPC mississauga. My husband lives in Paris but without status but originally from cairo. My question is will his papers be completed from mississauga or can it move to another VO. I just want to know if even they send us the AOR2 for mississauga, can it change?
Thanks everyone

It can change, yes.

Hey everyone,
Quick question, does anyone know if the Ottawa processing office is slow or fast. I was just told today that my husband's application is being sent there from mississauga.

Thanks for the help

I'm soooo happy for you! :)

Hi, I recently received PPR and the standard form it sends you mentions sending passport size photos as well. If I sent those in with my application (May 22nd), do I still have to send it photos again? I've heard yes and no and when I looked online under the application processing guidelines, it does say that they will use the photos you send in for your PR card, but wanted to see if anyone has had issues with this?

If your PPR states that your required to send photos then you should send them along with your passport. They should also be no older than 6 months.

The photos we sent in are only 4 months old at this point, maybe thats why I don't understand sending them in again when we were required to send them with the application.
We've received the same request today with PA's PPR. Just going to send then because it seems like very little trouble to just get them done, as opposed to not sending them in and then that delaying our COPR. What seems odd to me is that the letter requests they be mailed to London (PA and sponsor live in UK) but our app has stayed in Mississauga. Is your letter also indicating you need to mail to somewhere other than Mississauga? And maybe that's why they want new photos?

because these ones go on your PR card. The others are used for application purposes. dont question it and just follow the instructions and send them it doesnt matter why they are requesting new ones but they are so send them...

If your application is approved, we’ll use the photos you include as part of your application package to create a Permanent Resident Card for you (and your family members, if applicable). To avoid delays in getting your Confirmation of Permanent Resident document (which you’ll need to travel to Canada or become a permanent resident from within Canada), and/or your permanent resident card, it’s important that the photos meet certain specifications.

I'm not sure if you were trying to be rude, but this came across rude. I was just trying to find out if anyone else came across this situation and sent photos in with the application and then again with their PPR. It may sound easy to get the photos done again, but I don't exactly have the schedule with the kids and work to get us in to get photo's done again and was hoping to get a better clarification since we were required to send in photos at time of application which states on the website they will use them for the PR cards.

Wasnt being rude at all. Was being honest. Who really has time for this? No one! I dont know that you will get your answer here. Perhaps you could call IRCC and ask them directly for clarification however the instructions state send photos so you should try to make time to do it.
