Hi everyone!
Our file was selected to be processed in Mississauga, my husband (sponsor) got the email yesterday informing us of this. Seems like there are quite a lot of applications staying with CPC-M now, judging by the spreadsheets and WhatsApp group conversations.
To say I'm happy right now is an understatement. Was expecting the file to go to Vienna and it is not known for being fast at all. Hope Mississauga will be good to us.

Hello to All

This is Bobby from India. Myself and my daughter applied for dependent visa and our applications reached Mississauga visa processing office by 27th Nov 2017. My wife is holding PR status in Canada. We received our file number on 25th Jan 2018. Got a mail to proceed for medicals and we did it on 9th Feb 2018. Then I received to submit my schedule A details and it has been sent on 26th Feb 2018. Now we have done everything from my side. Could anyone let me know when can I get the mail for VISA stamping?? I'm just waiting for a month now. Will they do any other verification's even after this? Kindly help me.

Regards

Bobby

Hi @bobbycathie,

It's still quite early for November Applicants to be getting their decisions and CoPRs and depending on the Visa Office it could still take a few months before you hear anything at all.

Follow along with what other people have posted in this spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...ZbXo73hsxoXaLSJ5-tcm7qnJI/edit#gid=1663605978
or use this site: https://myimmitracker.com/en/ca/trackers/consolidated-spousal-sponsorship-tracker to see the timelines of other cases.

Thank you for your swift reply.

Hi Friends

Myself and my 8 years old daughter applied for a spouse visa from India as my wife is Canadian PR now. The application is under process in Mississauga processing center. I finished submitting medical clearance, Police Clearance. I submitted my Schedule A on 28th Feb 2018. Now I have three questions.

1. Can I apply visitor visa for me and my daughter and get into the country?

2. Can I do the visa stamping inside Canada once the process is through?

3. Is it possible for me to work in Canada when I am there in visitor visa?

Will be kind enough for the replies.

Cheers

1) YES you can apply for a visitor visa for yourself and your daughter.
2) You will have to go through a port of entry (not sure where your wife lives in Canada but land crossings are the best)
3) No you cannot - if you've already started your PR for yourself and your daughter it would be OUTLAND, you can only get a work permit if you applied INLAND.

State pcc, fbi pcc and court dockets

Why did they want state PCC? I thought if you were American you only needed to supply FBI PCC? You have me all worried! My husband has lived in at least 5 different states - getting PCCs for 5 states would probably kill me lol

What is ECAs and how do we get them??

If it says DM, it is only mean application is approved or DM can be negative as well??

My husband was asked to provide a PCC for Michigan and Missouri. He lived in Michigan and worked in Missouri.

Just curious, did your husband have any sort of criminal history? I've only heard of them requesting state PCCs if there is some sort of past charge that needs to be looked into
