This is a long shot (I think most people who land stop coming back to this forum) but I'm curious about anyone who has landed coming from the US on a Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or Monday in Ontario... I have heard all about the flagpole limitations they have put in place and how they only want you to come Tuesday-Thursday, but I am wondering if these rules impact people who are legitimately landing from the U.S. (i.e. not flagpoling but actually coming from U.S. with belongings in tow).
We'll be doing that in 2 weeks, on a Friday. Landing at Thousand Islands Bridge. Generally there isn't a line so hopefully will be pretty straight forward.

So created the shipment with the return labels and everything but I did not see an option for a commerical invoice. Did i do it wrong? I'm gonna ask them at the fedex store when i drop it off
Hmmmm. I’m not sure. Did you use FedEx Ship Manager (not the Lite version)?

That’s where I plan to land when the time comes. Are you from that area?

When i went to the fedex store they had me fill one out. They said I didn't need one but I filled out one anyway just in case. Thanks for your help!

Someone told me yesterday that our app is taking a long time because we applied Outland from in Canada. This person told me that the fact that we applied Outland from inside Canada is probably confusing CIC. Do you think this is true?

Just had a new line added to ECAS, sandwiched in between the previous 2:

2. We started processing your application on January 24, 2018.

Hopefully this is some Mississauga movement on our application. Fingers crossed for PPR/COPR soon, although not holding my breath as I might not be able to hold it that long!

Was this line added this morning? I always thought they started at 8am!

It must have been Jeff, as it wasn't on ECAS late last night or this morning UK time and had appeared by the time I logged just after noon UK time - which is, as you rightly point out, before the normal opening times.

I can only assume they have an automated process in place to make updates out of hours following entries in the system (or someone is on early flexi-time!)

It will not be long...your timeline is almost the same as ours!
Hopefully not, our BGC started in December according to the GCKey, just wish there was a bit of consistency lol

I am lol, I'm aware it could take ages but y'know when you get so close you just get super eager. Good to see something happening with yours though after you call!
