Jealous of all these people!
We are a month in to our BGC and not even a pre arrival email yet. Still plenty of time

Don't be jealous, he probably got the BG in process from ECAS, and the matter of fact is probably the BG started months before. And your application is a month later apart from his, so if CPC-Miss keeps this pace, you will get yours soon.Jealous of all these people!

Haha I knew someone would take the jealous thing wrong, it's a compliment. And yes I am aware there is a month between hence why I said still plenty of time, I know how the process works....by process I mean that there could be a 12 month or more wait, who knows.Don't be jealous, he probably got the BG in process from ECAS, and the matter of fact is probably the BG started months before. LOL, I didn't get you wrong. I can read the true message behind you post.Haha I knew someone would take the jealous thing wrong, it's a compliment. And yes I am aware there is a month between hence why I said still plenty of time, I know how the process works
Just have to remember that some people who read this stuff about getting BGC started and PPR the next day get their hopes up, just trying to throw it out there it's not always true.LOL, I didn't get you wrong. I can read the true message behind you post.![]()
I used FedEx and they were very helpful. Know that you can't request a pre-paid envelope in the FedexOffice store. You need to open an account at fedex.com, create a shipment online (do it with FedEx Ship Manager not the Lite version), and include return shipment. There will be outbound and return shipping labels, and outbound and return commercial invoices, to print and take with you then to the FedEx Office store. Save the PDF of the return commercial invoice (just today we had to send the return commercial invoice to FedEx because CIC Ottawa didn't include it with the CoPR being shipped to us).
I hear you, and you are absolutely correct on the "hopes up" part. There are few recommendations that I don't like here, one is that a lot people don't recommend people seek professional help, even in the appeal situation. I get that that there are bad eggs among those so called lawyers and consultants, but the reality is we don't really know the people behind the computer, something that you can do by yourself, it doesn't mean they can do, or do it well. I, for one, have no problems to understand all the forms and fill them up, but I am really bad at organize paper works. Instead of messing around those important documents, I hired a professional for help.Just have to remember that some people who read this stuff about getting BGC started and PPR the next day get their hopes up, just trying to throw it out there it's not always true.
It's tough for all of us, I'm happy for everyone who has got their acceptance and I really can't wait to be one of them
What phone number did you list for Cpc Ottawa? Fedex wants me to list a number for thenm. I can only find the fax number and then the irrc call center number
I put 1-888-242-2100 (Call Center)What phone number did you list for Cpc Ottawa? Fedex wants me to list a number for thenm. I can only find the fax number and then the irrc call center number

Not 100% sure about this, but base on the recent posts from CPC - Mississauga folks, once your ECAS updated from application received to in process, it is a very good sign and it may indicate that you are very close to the finish line, it could be days or weeks.Hi all,
I have never posted on this forum only in the August Outland forum. Our application was received on August 23rd 2017, and we have gotten AOR2 on December 11,2017 saying that our application will be processed in Mississauga. Today when I checked our Ecas, it changed from “application received” to “in process”. However, when I phoned in, the automated machine still says background check has not yet been started.I understand that this stage (background check) takes the longest, but should I be expecting it to change to DM soon? Thank you in advance for the reply.

Since our case is three weeks later than yours, I also vote for "days"Thank you for your reply! Haha, I’m hoping for “days” and not “weeks”. Saying goodbye to my husband at the airport only gets harder. Thanks again and will keep you all updated!
