I'm sponsoring my wife from Manila. Not sure what's happening but it seems that our application may have stalled. There has been no activity at all. Just wondering if anyone else experiencing this for Outland? Our timeline:

Application recd at CIC MISS: 8/3/17
Email from CIC MISS complete app: 9/10/17
Email from CIC MISS for spouse to link account: 9/10/17. Account linked 9/11/17
Request from CIC MISS requesting NBI CLEARANCE AND IMM5669 background information- 9/11/17. Both uploaded 9/12/17 to online account
Request from CIC MISS requesting medical exam -9/14/17
Email from CIC MISS sponsor APPROVED -9/15/17
Email from CIC MISS file transferred to MANILA
Email from CIC MANILA processing spouse application - 9/28/17
Spouse medical exam complete 10/2/17
CIC MANILA confirmed "medical exam received" 10/3/17
CIC MANILA confirmed "medical exam PASSED" 10/7/17
Email from CIC MANILA requesting ADVISORY OF MARRIAGES (AOM)document from PHILIPPINE STATISTICS AUTHORITY 10/30/17

The next that you should expect is for the BGC - Back Ground Check. There is no certain time line for how long it will be. The rule of thumb so far is that you should expect 12 months for the whole process, counting from the date that CIC received your application. And this thread is for folks that their application will be fully processed by CPC-Miss, the time line here will be different than your specific local VOs. I believe there is a thread for applicants from Philippine, and you should join them, it will provide you a more accurate time frame pattern there.

I have a specific question about the message on ECAS, currently, my ECAS shows three lines, the third line is about CIC had received my medical results, and it had been there for a month. My question is that will CIC ever update my ECAS to something like my medical has passed or it will jump directly to In Process?

Btw, my case is processed by CPC-Miss.

My ecas never changed from medicals received, it only changed to passed on gckey

No, CIC won't change your medical result to "medical has passed" in your ECAS, it will only shows "pass" in your GCKEY account. If your VO is in CPC-M, they usually won't change your status to "in process". For a lot of CPC-M applicants, CIC skipped the "in process" step, it will only change to "Decision made".

I had the first update from IRCC today since end of February 2017. They want an updated Schedule A which they already asked for and got 11 months ago. This whole process is starting to feel like a joke.

Hey, What was your expected VO? and did you receive an email saying that Sauga will process your app.?
BTW my GCkey changed to BGC in process on 20th Dec so very near to yours. Also the eCas says InProcess on 22nd Dec.
I know this because I checked on 19th Dec and then I called them on 20th Dec and thats when I found that on 20th Dec they started BGC,.

Did they tell you over phone that tgey started BGC? We are June applicants but no change on BGC for us yet, getting very impatient lol

Yes they did tell me that BGC started. Yours will start soon too, usually at times they start it and GCKEY not updated. I have seen so many cases where BGC starts and 2 to 3 days goes to DM. So be positive, its gonna be DM very soon
