I have a stupid question, hope you won't mind answering though..When Did you get the mail saying your app would be processed at Mississauga?like how long after Sponsor Approval ? Or did they mention it in SA mail already??

We got SA approval around September 29th if I remember correctly. Then the one saying my app would be processed in Mississauga was on October 11th

I called CIC today, and no movement whatsoever on their system, so we were told they would send a message to Mississauga to see what’s going on because the 12 month mark is a little over a month away and there’s no new entries since May. I contacted my MP yesterday, and they will send something after January 30th if the PR isn’t completed.

We’ve been told a few different things every time we’ve called CIC. The SA letter indicated that our file would be processed in Ottawa. Then we were verbally told that Mississauga would handle it. Then another CIC agent said that it would be sent to the USA before being finalized. So I really don’t know what’s going on, and CIC can’t say anything else because there’s no updates on their system.

I haven’t ordered notes. I’m not sure how to proceed with that, and if it would provide additional info considering there’s nothing new on the CIC system.

I’m really happy for the applicants that are getting their PR. I just feel like I’m one of the very few that hasn’t had any movement on their file. And ours is very straightforward and CIC has all the documentation they need.

I, along with a few others have heard nothing either. Lots of July apps getting PPR, meanwhile several apps that are straight forward from January are still not seeing any movement.

Is there any June 2017 applicants that have received their decision yet? We applied in June, I'm canadian my hubby is British and my twin daughter's have duel citizenship so was hoping it would be a quick process, our application is being processed entirely at Mississauga

June 2017 Applicants here, Application received on June 12th, 2017, AOR1 on July 11th, dm on Nov 24th ,PPR Nov 29th. VO is Mississauga. Have you checked your online account? Have CIC started your background check yet? It will be very close to dm if they have started your bcg.

We are June 30 applicants. Husband is from Australia. Got the email being processed in Mississauga a few months ago. Didn't hear anything until this evening - now got an email that our app has been forwarded to Sydney for "further processing". Any one else have similar emails? ECAS just changed from application received to in process. GC Key changed to back ground check in progress around a month ago. Does this sound normal? I am hoping it's being sent to Sydney for them to send out his PPR. I thought it was maybe going to be done in Ottawa because my hubby has been living in Canada with me for over 3 years. It means they havent started your background check yet. Once the line changed to "We started processing your background check." dm will come very soon after bcg which is "Decision made". After decision made they will send Passport request email to you in several days and that would be the end of the whole journey.
