Got a PPR! (DM yesterday)
- received it by email, nothing on GCKey yet
- email came from CPC Mississauga
- documents are to be sent to CPC Ottawa
- they didn't provide a contact email the way Ottawa does, the letter instructs to launch a CSE if any issues arise.
hahh. I wonder If I can just send Ottawa my Passport copies and Photos ahead of time since the emails for us comes from Mississauga but tells us to send it to Ottawa.
still no DM here. just got a notification that they have received our documents they asked for. so here's to hoping VERY soon. and it won't take months...

Just received PPR today!! Woohoo!! The day after I called them, not sure if it was a coincidence or if the phone representative put some sort of note on our file.

Just a quick question. On Appendix B my wife is the applicant and I am her spouse. Do I still have to include myself on it as well?
Congrats!
include yourself on what?
If you're talking about PPR, I'm going to assume you don't have to send anything in if you're the Canadian.

When you get PPR you have to fill out Appendix B which has information for the applicant and all family members.

I'm trying to work through the VFSGlobal website now to submit my wifes Passport photocopy and documents for COPR. It looks like they require a service charge for this and a prepaid return envelope? Also do we have to include the consent form for PPR as well?

I seem to remember my CIC status changed to "background check in progress" after a week, but just sat at that stage for a while.
My app is 1 day short of the 7 month mark. Transferred to Ottawa 3 week of may and to Mississauga July 17. My background check has still not started.

Is this normal?

It's very hard to tell what's normal I'm afraid, as Mississauga isn't usually a visa office.
