Am I crazy to make a photocopy of everything before I send it on Friday?

I am petrified its going to get lost or something and I'm going to have to do the entire 170 pages I have ALL OVER again

I scanned the documents and saved a digital copy.
Definitely not nuts to save a copy of everything you send.

Hey guys!

We are a August applicant that has been getting processed by the Mississauga VO from the very beginning, background check has already started in December and ECAS changed to in progress a few days ago- just got an email tonight saying our application has been forwarded to the Los Angeles VO. We are a common-law outland application (my boyfriend is a US citizen). No red flags or anything. Anybody have an idea why we would be forwarded there?

youre probably being sent to LAVO to have your PPR and COPr processed as Mississauga isnt able to issue those.

Just got email confirmation we are approved! Does anyone know if UK needs visa for canada

It's a visa exempt country if that's what you're asking

Thanks, it' so confusing, we got approval I'm canadian kids have canadian passpoets, husband from UK, got email with steps to finish everything but says if you need visa send to VO! So I'm unsure

yeah, according to other posters the status is changed to approved only after the COPR is issued.

Sorry I'm all over place, I have re read the email as we are visa exempt we only have to upload copy of passport and send new photos to London VO for PR

Yea it hasn' changed yet, but decision made, requested to send passport for PR so nearly done

Guess they finally decided I'm not a threat to Canada...just got PPR email 15 min ago. Not if they can be speedy in Ottawa to issue COPR I'll be able to start working shortly!
