I have ordered notes, nothing there that they requested other than what they already received. Talked to the call centre staff, nothing they can see either. Sent a case specific enquiry, got a reply back that said "we have everything we need..."
Never got any AOR2 from Mississauga, was told first that it was going to London, then Ottawa. Emailed Ottawa and they replied that Mississauga is processing my case, which also the GCMS notes indicate. Doesn't really look like anyone touched my file since first week of April, when there is a note from a visa officer that they received the documents they requested.

I'm sorry to read about how well travelled your app is! Really strange to be hopping all over the place. Hopefully it'll be processed in Mississauga soon enough. So you got aor2 from London and Ottawa?

Wish it was that simple in my case...there is absolutely nothing about my application that should cause any delays. January applicant, sponsor approval and document request in Feb, documents uploaded Feb 21. After that...a whole lot of nothing.

Very odd. You could order notes or make an enquiry with the Minister. In my case there were a couple of lost emails and IRCC was awaiting them. Once we responded to that our file was pushed ahead. Try that.

Have ordered notes, talked to 4 different people at the call centre, reached out to the local MP and MLA who both tried to help. My inlaws also tried other channels.
Same answer everywhere "they have everything that they asked for" and " you're still within the 12 month processing time, so all you can do is wait".
Feels even more frustrating now that is seems like Mississauga finally are processing a whole bunch of applications.

Application actually never went anywhere else than Mississauga. Closest thing to AOR2 was Feb 16th when my wife/sponsor got sponsor approval letter where it said "...the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative has been forwarded to the visa office in Unspecified for further processing..."

Received DM on September 1st and PPR October 31st (approximately 8 weeks).
Total time for processing was 10 months.

ecas is an online tool where you can check your application status without having to link, AOR2 is acknowledgment of receipt 2, when a new line appears in ecas on the applicant side saying "we started processing your app on xxxxx date" indicating the VO has begun working on the file

Ok - we got an email saying that our case would be processed in Mississauga. So that's what that is referring to?

Yes, for Mississauga applicants, that email is AOR2. For most of us, ECAS is never switching to “in process”

Yes, even though they will detail that they have received your medicals, yet, still only received

My wife sent in PPR, and it's been about a week and we haven't heard anything back. I think the average is about 2 to 4 weeks maybe. I'm really hoping for 2 or less.

The difference should only be the shipping time. I was told they're slammed and averaging 3-4 weeks. Whatever, these will be the fastest 3-4 weeks of my life
